Canadian Erosion and Containment

I enjoyed the work itself alot. The people you generally work with are pretty fun but disgruntled people. 
The management however lacks  constructive communication and organization skills. 
The attitude that "labourers are easy to get and a dime a dozen so it doesn't matter how many experienced ones they lose " is very obvious. 
When you are working in town you will get a text from a foreman telling you to come in, or you will get nothing. That text comes in anywhere from 3pm to 10pm so it's hard to plan anything. When you go out of town you could go for 10 days or 7 months not really knowing when you actually will come back after being told something completely different.
With all that being said alot of what they do is unique if it weren't for the disrespect level pegging the max I would still work there now. 

This company offers a genuinely positive and welcoming work environment where inclusivity is more than just a value—it’s practiced daily. Management has shown a clear commitment to continuous improvement, which makes it easy to see the company is headed in the right direction.

While the workplace culture is encouraging and empowering, there is still room for improvement, which the management team is actively working on.

Overall, it’s a great place to work if you value growth, teamwork, and being part of a company that listens and evolves with its employees.

Started off pretty good, met some good people, but lots of inexperienced employees. Expected and was promised a very busy summer but it was all a lie, only worked a couple days a week on several occasions. There is a huge lack of leadership and communication, I was told that I would be given a bigger role and responsibility which was all talk. Overall, I wouldn’t even label this job as a stepping stone. If you’re serious about working, look elsewhere.

Very unorganized. You don't have a set schedule and often times don't find out if you work until the night before. This includes where you'll be working as well. Pay discrepancies happen. Leadership is poor. Team lead would often time not work and would show up for work late. There are a few exceptions to this. An okay job if you're in desperate need of employment , work isn't too hard. If you're serious about working this can be a frustrating place to work.

There a growing company, great foreman’s to work with, very team oriented. Like most companies that are growing there is some hiccups but overall the team atmosphere, goal driven people working there make it a good company to work for. There industry pay rate is high to start. 

This place could be good if they hired the right people to run the crews. They don't do a knowledge test on the formans so any one can get a job. Disgruntled unreliable workers get rewarded while good ones get reprimanded. 

I enjoy working at CEC and all the different types of work they do and the different parts of Canada we get to travel to; there are great opportunities for advancement within the company.  I would recommend CEC 

CEC is a great place to work with the opportunity for quick advancement.  There is some out of town work but you are compensated fairly for your time away.  I get a lot of hours and the pay is good.  

Work here was a enjoyable and good paced. All the guys where easy to get along with. Work was consistent and always busy for seasonal. Only downside was rain days and getting into equipment
