If you want to get treated like garbage , this is your place . People in the office don't care about you but expect you to work around the clock to pay for there Christmas lunches . You can do whatever you want and get away with it . Very un organized supervisors and shop manager thinks he knows everything and is better than everyone else when really he is as smart as safety. Very cheaply ran as if something breaks they don't fix it until 3 months down the road and just expect you to take another junk truck with more problems. If you like to get back stabbed and treated with no respect this is the place to work . People downstairs in the office couldn't tell the difference from a hole in the ground from there own behind  .  Also if you fail a drug test  they will just wait until your clean and then once you pass you can go back to doing what you were doing. Only positive thing . Stay away

This company is poorly managed from top to bottom. The dispatcher plays favorites with her son. Dont expect to work more the 3 days a week, also don't expect your supervisors or human resources to help you with anything or think anything is in confidence, I can assure you any call you make to either of them will be placed on speaker phone while everyone sits around quietly waiting to hear your complaint even if it makes sense they will label you a whiner or a complainer. If you have any concerns please don't bother hr or management as they really dont care about you. They will lie to you tell you one thing and then do something completely different The moral is garbage, they only look out for themselves. Stay away!!!!!!

Some of the worst drivers ever, not even operators. Very poor safety record as everyone knows in the industry. Maybe 5 teams players in the whole shop.On the plus, mechanics are great” the two younger ones, just avoid the old one!Management are horrendous, if surprise blind siding is your thing, this is your place.If you love politics and backstabbing and dealing with 8 year olds, this is your place. And don’t worry, you’ll only have to do one drug test at worst. Oh but nice trucks.

It's the type of place that if you dont drop everything your doing and jump for them you won't get hours. People who are lazy, hard to work with, get rewarded with fat pay days. They expect you to be available 24/7 and if you're not you get passed over for big projects.

Canaidian Hydrovac located in Sherwood park Alberta is a Great place to work fair treatment from management team is excellent and the workers and mechanics are great people to work with  I recommend it to anybody in the Hydrovac  Industry knows they have good and newer equipment

Constantly going through slow periods. Not a reliable source of income. Sat for over 30 days once due to no work.  Required to jump when they call. Dont work you for a week then expect you to drop everything and do an emergency call at 2am. If you dont go you get treated like 
Garbage and put to bottom of line up.

I really enjoyed working here. Great people to be around and always a positive working environment. Everyone gets treated equally and there is always room to move up in the company which most do not give you the opportunity too.

Decent place to work in comparison to other companies in this industry, some management can be overbearing. When the work is steady its good, field people can be negative but over all everyone is easy to get along with.

Canadian was great when I started with them pay was good employees were happy to be there and every one had a sense of pride,now moral is down and management just sees employees as numbers not so great anymore.

Little opportunity for advancement and the General Manager position held zero ability to make decisions. All decisions were made by Ownership with little to no regard for employees.
