What is the best part of working at the company?
Paid sick days, good wage, vacation days, flote days and good work environment.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
All the assessments to monitor the quality of the service witch I found great but at the same time it's stressful.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Team work. They have a family environment and will make you feel you have tools to growth 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It's busy and full of fun. You have daily interactions with family, children and staff members.

A typical day at Mothercraft, started with entering the room and introducing myself to the parents and children. As a supply, you are not always consistently in the room, so the parents find it comforting to be introduced to a new face who is taking care of their child. The job was very helpful for my school. It taught me how to run daily routines, how to interact with parents, how to help out other staff and work cooperatively. The coworkers were always supportive of decisions and choices and were always there if there were any questions. I love every aspect about this job.

During my five years of work as an ECE there were three different managers due to turn over. The management style is very poor as the supervisors treat staff disrespectly and the level of expectation is much higher than the salary. The communication and organization is low which causes a very stressful environment. Parents are often disrespectful to staff and management condones this and does not stand up in confidence with their employees. There is a lot of pettiness and immaturity with upper management.

Company pays RECEs and assistants very low wages. Staff are expected to bend over backwards for families. These two things contributed to low employee morale.

Many levels of senior management makes it very challenging and slow to initiate changes that are needed for specific classrooms. Requests or concerns brought up by staff are often denied or dismissed. 



It was my first plasement .It was a great experience full day in the Preeschool group.I lerned how organize and implemented programs for children, also leaded childrenin activities  to stimulate and develop their intellectual<physical and amotialgrowth and ebsure their security and well-being.

Through Mothercraft is a leader in the area of Early childhood Education and care they fail to provide staff with a positive work culture and career advancement to retain staff.

This is a very close-knit workplace where the employees are respectful and understanding. This is also a great environment for new parents who want to learn more about child development and resources that could help them and their children.

Well established and open to feedback, provided lots of developmental support to children, a supportive environment for the employees as well. Inclusion and diversity were important values here as well as slowly becoming more eco-concious.

Management is not going to support you especially in certain situations they definitely favour certain people. The only good thing there are the people who were nice. 

Really great place to work, staff is very friendly, can enhance your cooking techniques and grow. Will definitely recommend here as you can definitely make a difference by providing a healthy choice.
