I have been working at Canadian Security Professionals for just under a year now and love it. When I was hired I was immediately welcomed into this "family" environment and have felt that sense of family ever since. The management team goes above and beyond in training exercises and always has their employe's best interest at heart. The CEO is the best man I have ever worked for, he does all he can to keep his employees happy and gives so much to this company... super easy to talk to him when I need advice at work.

My starting salary was normal, minimum wage, and when I asked for a raise I was granted that raise. I have asked for time off to do personal things and they accommodate willingly, every instance I have asked for time off I have been granted that time.

They always value my opinions and make me feel like an irreplaceable, valued, important member of this team! I am not one to always speak my mind, and if I am having an off day my managers are always there to ask, "what's going on? You don't seem yourself today". I know that I have found not only a great place to work, but an overwhelming sense of a second family. The response from management and other employees when I need help at work, or just simple advice in life is above and beyond.

Overall, great place to work and move up in the Company. I see myself working here for a very long time.

I have worked here since 2012 and I can honestly say it is the best job I have ever had. This is my career, and how I support my family. Since working here, I have been able to improve my life in almost every aspect. I have been able to travel with the company numerous times, which has been a great experience for me. Since making the management team I have learned what a real work family can be like. I cannot speak to the experiences some people have posted on this site, although as I do handle the day to day duties in office, I can say as a legitimate company everyone has always been paid what they are owed. The staff here are an interesting bunch of people with a spot for every personality, and a lot of the positions come with full paid training when you start. I am not going anywhere, and with the support of the company I hope to continue to grow along with it.

I recently had the privilege of working at CSP in Hamilton Ontario, and enjoyed learning about the business. Great atmosphere, everyone there is very friendly, caring and welcoming and there is a great team environment, almost like a second family. We had sales training and meetings every day, we would all help each other out on whatever it was we needed to work on to be able to aspire daily and most importantly help out communities with great systems to protect homes and families. There is defiantly potential to make a lot of money and move up in the company. They offer great promotions every month and lots of company paid lunches. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a job that is outgoing, positive, enthusiastic and can work as a team as well as individually to apply

This company does not give you salary. All your pay comes from commission based on how many pieces of home alarm equipment you can sell (shill) to each person. If you fail to sell anything in a week they said you will get ~$300 dollars as a safety net. I never received this money after working with them for three weeks. Then they begin to hint that your lack of productivity will get you fired.
Training provided is inadequate, you will be told to make-up whatever statistics about crime in the area you want to generate fear motivated buying. Save yourself the time and money and avoid them at all costs.

I've recently had the pleasure of working with some of the most amazing people here. The knowledge I've gained from this company will definitely serve me for years to come. Everyday, we would train and assist one another to improve not only skills for the workplace but also personal skills. The pay is immense to say at the least, the incentives ON TOP of the bonuses you'll make. I can honestly say, I've never met such amazing people though. So caring and incredibly fun people. I'm definitely going to miss working here!

I have nothing but positives about CSP and my employment. It is a very relaxed environment, low stress and colleagues all get along very well. Overall, a very satisfying place to be employed at. If you have ever worked for a large corporation, you are aware that you are just another expendable employee and seldom receive appreciation. It is the complete opposite here and employee recognition is high. There is a lot of room to work hard and advance with reward.

At the end of the this day, this is a door to door sales positions. I loved meeting new people, and the management was very supportive. They provided great training, and it was a pleasure working with them. However, the working environment is outdoors and it can get quite nerve racking going from door to door.

By far this has been the best work environment I have been in as both the co-workers and management are very pleasant to work with and are always willing to help out. I never feel like I cannot talk about certain aspects of the job or things that are stressing me out. Sure we deal with the public and that always has pros and cons but I am always able to get a few min breather if things are getting a bit over whelming.

I love my job and the management. The owner is an amazing person who cares about the employees. Everyone in both offices has always been supportive and understanding.  We go on team nights and do fun activities when we do well. We get paid to knock on doors, make friends, and secure their homes!

Worked here for a long time and overall is my favourite experience coming out on top of all the places that I worked in the past. You are recognized for your hard work and the Christmas parties are so amazing.  We are constantly learning and there is so much help that is offered every step of the way
