Everyone is very accommodating and friendly to be around. They definitely make work feel less like work. A lot of my current friend circle was met through work. If you want to have a life outside of work, think again. Schedules are made weekly due to changing time frames from clients, and hours can range from a short 3 hour set-up shift to a grueling 12+ hour shift. No thought given to having events end at 2:00 AM one night, and another event starts at 8:00 AM the next morning. 

Pay is also minimal, though they give servers better than serving wage as there are no tips. Raises are not given out automatically based on work ethic, and the company is more than happy to let employees of x+ years sit at $15 an hour if they don't ever bring it up. Having said that, it seems like management really does try and fight for your raises if you ask them about it. 

If you like working outside you'll love working here with maintenance. The team work and staff I worked with were nothing but amazing. Get to drive and work with machinery and tools outside often given trust to go on your own or if a team is needed coordination with others is there. If you like attention to detail and outdoor work you'll love this position. 

Summary says it. It has its politics and drama lime everywhere but overall a decent place to work where you are for the most part appreciated. Staff mostly care about what they are doing and management is also good too. No room for advancement though. It's a seasonal job and that's about all

Course is well run, but needs more communication between Clubhouse, and Turf departments
The turf manager was not open to suggestion, and was very prefferencial as to the job assignments, and treatment of employees.

I worked in course maintenance for 4 summers throughout my undergrad and this job provided me with over 40+ hours a week for the entire summer which was important for me. Also management was professional and willing to help. Only potential drawback was starting at 6 am every day and working every other weekend. You were also able to golf on any of the 4 courses for only $2. Overall it was a great summer job.

. Overall not horrible for the short term. But in the long term.... well there wont be a long term because you'll leave before then, hopefully. Management really don't care about you.

Typical day starts with showing up, signing in then checking the tee sheet for the day. Once you go outside you get the carts that have come off the course and clean them, then once clean, park, charge and put away for the night. Once all carts are clean and put away, you go home

Golf clubs hire per season so they do not invest in people...they see you as summer help only. Management are the only ones that seem to get ahead as they are there all year round.
The hardest part is working in the intense heat and humidity...and having to do heavy lifting at times.

very bad work environment in food and Bev, the management treated servers terribly and would keep auto grats from events/weddings, did not share the percentage of tips taken for kitchen, cut hours, and became hostile.

Honestly super fun place to work and as long as you’re a hard worker and not lazy as heck, management is super awesome. The miniputt swamp is nice and ngl I love cleaning it. Co-workers are super nice, just make sure to drink lots and lots of water! Overall 20/10 would recommend
