Do not apply for this company! I worked there for 2 years and you work hard to get no raises and the slackers and the people who do nothing get promotions. The lead hands are not good leaders they do nothing and don’t act like lead hands too much of daycare and high school with them gossip about other employees I was put in three different departments for receiving picking and small pack I did it all there and certain employees pick the bare minimum and get away with it when you work hard and I picked the most and they would complain they have favourites there with workers and smart people who think they know it all people bad mouth other employees behind there back Including the lead hands the inventory coordinator is a smart know it all and complains about if you do something minor and would walk around the warehouse acting like a manager it’s a joke of a place to work and a bunch of actors who pretend to work hard and get away cuz they fake it to the boss and leads. I would always hit numbers yet they would move me to different departments and other guys couldn’t hit numbers at all and stay in picking and certain guys would hit the bare minimum as long as you fake it there you make it but if you work hard you get in trouble not a very good company who values they are bullies the lead hands also they don’t treat you with respect at all

Toxic culture, pitiful pay, high turnover, body-breaking work. The swing shift keeps many workers in a perpetual state of being too exhausted to look for better work. 
The changes for the worse happened so incrementally that the more senior employees became accustomed, and don't understand how painful the expectations have become to newbies. The seasoned employees' specialization should be compensated properly (fairly, competitively), but the output goalposts just move further away. This makes it hard for new employees to acclimatize, and few stay.
Employee feedback is taken and ignored, and the workplace has the bleak resigned feeling of a stockyard. When people leave, replacements are rare- someone junior just absorbs the tasks and doesn't get a raise, title change, or any kind of compensation. 
Employees are not rewarded for hard work except for occasional meal-days where giant bulk Costco-purchases are divided between the shift crews. Holiday company 'gifts' are a cheap joke. 
Work was required during the pandemic, but some Covid protocols were unenforced by management. Management referred to employees as heroes, and then were overt about finding excuses to deny people a raise of more than five cents. 

Even though it's a Global Corporation, Cardinal operates like a mom's and pop's shop. Management makes decisions based on ego and favoritism. Many are stuck in their ways and refuse to change or refuse to hear other's opinions. Opinions are spoken but never heard  year over year. Turnover is on a rise at all levels and departments which shows instability and  lack of leadership. There sight is further than their reach and with the lack of people managers/directors, they will have a hard time adjusting to the fast pace and technological advancements. I would not recommend this place for employment as it's too easy to get rid of their oldest to newest employees simply based on management disliking them. Every other warehouse company offers better pay, perks, and employee engagement AND most definitely, better management. Sometimes, it takes years to get a desirable shift due to the high tenor of all the day employees. Some employees aren't performance managed due to the fact of age and proximity to retirement which proves the inconsistency throughout.

you walk in the job placement that is divided into 3 hour intervals is placed on the board for all to see, they strive to meet your abilities however encourage employees to attempt other sections so that you are able to meet all machinery of the department. Other jobs are posted for those interested. You learn the expectations of the position as well as the purpose of the product that you are working with. The workplace is multicultural and if asked they are willing to share their history and stories.  Lower management is  eager to help you and encourage to ask for the help and are very approachable and let you feel heard.  Upper management is non-approachable and should be avoided at all cost.  The hardest part of the job is making quota by balancing the quantity vs quality and maintaining the safety of the employee. The most enjoyable part of the job is the individuals that you will be working with, they are funny, helpful and a good source of the information you need to succeed in the job.  It is overall a great place to work.

Leadership is disrespectful to women. Boys club 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Employees get along with each other generally, mostly temp hires who don’t speak English because the management can’t keep people who understand how disrespectful management and one lead is.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful. They expect a few people to carry the weight for the manager, one of the leads and a new male hire (who pushed out the previous employee who came back from maternity leave). They get to decide what they want and your day depends on what they don’t want to do even if it’s not in your job description, they’ll add “other duties as required by the operations manager” which means you do everything

Cardinal health is a easy job where you can cruise by but when it comes to pay they are don't pay well. No matter how much extra things you do for them ex joining health and safety, trainer, ect you dont get any extra pay. Only time you get a raise is end of the year review but even then max you can get is 50 cents and the guy who does nothing get 45 cents compared to you. Anytime pay is brought up they make a lazy excuse about it. Even during covid we get nothing other then 1 time in may where everyone got extra $500 but got taxed heavily on it some people got less then 200 back. If you are looking for a job to move up look somewhere else but if you need a job to just pay the bills for the time being this place good for that. Also if you want to make $25 you will have to slave away a min of 15 years to hit that goal but good luck with that.

To keep it short: fast paced with lots of little things that make work challenging. Capacity issues, frequent changes in safety and productivity policies and technology experimentation leading process interruptions and physical congestion for workers. It's a small warehouse that delivers for both small costumers and large wholesale. 
Typical challenge faced is when there's a big change that is meant to improve productivity and capacity is then made redundant by some new policy or procedure. There's no problem with being safe, but expectations can't keep up with the increasing number of changes. 

Everyone who works the floor shares an incredible effort to work together despite the challenges, and the team I had the pleasure to work with was very respectful and helpful during my time here. 

Awful place to work. Idea of benefits,vacation time off great. However, job most stressful in my life. Management awful.  Man couldn’t speak both languages. Only french & other manager had to replay everything in English. So meetings took twice as long. If manager knew both languages he could of summed it up in both languages, quick and easy. Also meetings twice a week would of been enough. Also a little positive feedback once in a while would of been nice. Meetings every day to let group know how bad we were. How many mistakes we made and how slow we were. Put downs let downs. Highly do t recommend this place ! Manager should not even be a employee. Lazy , doesn’t pull wait, & can’t speak English! Other manager when first got there was better but still place over all awful awful. Don’t work here! 

Working for Cardinal Health at warehouse associate/Coordinator level is a good place for those wanting just a job with a little higher wage than other warehouse pays. It is airconditioned facility winter and summer, and it is a secure job. The only thing is that the HR department is so small, and this refers to the high level of management doesn't invest in the human capitals therefore they never encourage or even support ambitious warehouse workers to grow with the company.  Cardinal Health is a big name and looks a promising company for many internationally trained individuals tried working for few years in the warehouse until they find it is not as advertised. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
I’ve been there for 27 yrs. It’s a full time job, benefits and a pension. Any job in this facility isn’t that hard too do but because of the nature of the product we make it does require a serious person too do it

I would say some of the coworkers.
Mostly conflict issues

Honestly it’s not always great but it’s up to you how you handle it.
If you really want a full time job that come with some positive benefits then it’s worth it
