They have monthly meetings with office people discussing "120% efficiency" when realistically it cause they are in the busy season and they probably messed up the production last year that's why they learned to start earlier. 
They talk about how they care about their employee, then why is that the ppl working in the office and in the production area people have to be in office 5 days?
Another question is that how come people who get hired through the preferred Recruiter which is the VP of HR friend, those ppl have 5 days in office but the direct hires get hybrid? 
The once month free meals for your staff don't cut the pay they need to support their family. That perk is only as good till you have to go the washroom. That is not how you take care of your employees. How's about when you get the tax credit of 4mil from donating 10 mil, you give that credit back to your staff?
Sometimes people only look good on paper and pictures, that is just surface level. Their "leadership is going for a pawaow, so we can collaboratively work together " I call bluff. All they do is party and drink for 3 days and 2 nights, while the staff stay and work in office. Well that tells you as much why half your staff don't feel appreciated. The fact you have leadership saying it's a fun place  but the staff in production and office don't have the same view. The fact that their managers are taught to manipulate their employees to thinking that they will eventually get a higher position, is a complete lie. 

l like working over there because l learned a lot some are,change skid number in box printer,stretch wrap and apply production label to each skid,record skid(date, product number,use of l clipper and many more..it help me to manage my time, what to do. my co-workers was very nice, kind, friendly and always work as a team.The hardest part of the job is when you are doing roller and when the speed is from 44-55 it was very fast.The most enjoyable part of the job is when we gonna start working we have to go to meet before starting working and that meet the supervisor asked questions about the product we gonna run and moment every single person have to talk, and every first day of the months we have barbeque, etc

Its generally very exciting to work at cardinal, I never feel bored and my 11 hours shift passes real quickly.
I have learned lots of great techniques of doing packaging in a faster and efficient manner. Also learned to operate all the machines in that plant.
My co-workers were the basic reason i could survive and learn so quick in a fast pace environment like that. It was all about Team-Work.
To train new people was one of the hardest thing i had to do there.
It felt like home there, Loved going to my job every day.

A typical day at work was smooth, with clear tasks and a good team environment. I learned efficiency and teamwork. Management was generally supportive, but the supervisor was biased, which sometimes affected fairness. The workplace culture was positive and collaborative. The hardest part was dealing with favouritism , but the most enjoyable part was working with great colleagues.

I worked in HR, and the company structure and culture was all over the place. They talk big on servant leadership, but do not practice it,  they talk about supporting staff/team work, but managers gossip about their teams to other managers, and also gossip about other managers to their teams. My performance and attendance was perfect, but I was terminated because I did not fit the culture. 

Cardinal Meats requires that their employees be hard-working, consistent and engaging. A typical day at work composes a consistent repetition of operating machines, moving skits back and forth, and production of meat. The hardest part of the job is the uncomfort of working in a very cold environment. The most pleasant part of the job excluding the pay is the extrinsic rewards that employees get from doing a good job from their supervisor.

When I first started in Cardinal meats in January 2018. Everyone in the raw production line was willing to teach me alot. I was hired to be a full time employee in December 2018. Reason I left I was terminated due to confidental reasons. Do not apply to work for this company pay is not the best and the staffs are rude all the time.

There is no systems in place and what ever us there is not what is happening on the floor and always blaming the hourly employees, but to be fair I did not hear that they deduct any money from people who did mistakes cause they know it is a mess

it was good paying job and also enjoyed lot. good working conditions and management was also good helping staff and co-operative seniors. they also provide health insurance to all the staff members. i learnt a-lot from there because it was my 1st job in canada.

*A typical day included the preparation of the raw meat and the ingredients which involved lifting 40lbs meat blocks and grinding them into small pieces which were then cooked and packed.

*My job also included training the new employees as well.
