Typical day would include working in a typically abusive environment while being paid just above minimum wage for the same work that LPN's do.

I learned a lot about caring for people. Also, I learned how many different types of medical equipment works.

Management was poor. Scheduling was awful. Consistent issues with being underpaid due to clerical issues.

Hardest part of my job; there were a few things. The absolute hardest part of my job was getting close to clients and losing them to whatever ailment they were suffering from. Another difficult aspect was experiencing the stress of family members in the same household.

However, the most enjoyable part of my job was knowing that I was being a positive influence on the clients lives. Just seeing that laugh and have a good time made it all feel worthwhile. Clients have always been a positive aspect of this type of work.

I really enjoy going to work each day and love what the company does to make such a positive difference in the lives of others.  We are an all-inclusive company and hire people from all cultures.  I love supporting and helping my co-workers achieve success.  Can be stressful when appointments are booked and they have to be cancelled or rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances.  We are a team oriented company and I feel supported by my manager and other staff.  

Demeaning management that make mistakes often, then blame the employees. Schedule w/o letting you know, and make you make up hours other people missed. Given no training whatsoever, thrown in with high care clients n don’t tell you any background information. Management expects you to take shifts on your days off, and if you don’t they take it as a refusal. Both employees and clients suffer. 

Management don't care about their employees or the clients. They just care about the dollar bill. They are not concerned about their employees safety and the type of work you are thrown into is very dangerous at times. The pay is alright for around this area but It is not something you would want a career in.

Flexibility  Was great . Caregiver really try to make their workers comfortable in their work environment ☺️

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Everyday is stress related It depends on the client and their needs .

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy days always but I liked it like that

Caregivers used to be a one of the best company to work with but not anymore.

scheduling is so stressful. One week you get so much hours next week nothing. Some time you have to travel a lot only for few hours. Very hard to communicate with staff in the office and that’s makes job hard. 

Only thing I like about this job is my patient and my work.

No raises. Had to threaten labor laws to get reasonable regular time off. Management not good or respectful. Yearly reviews and raises are ignored and put off. Pay rate different from person to person and you are threatened with termination if you talk to a co-worker about your pay rate Can't trust co-workers. Cheep

I worked for caregivers for 3 years . They were a great company .  Easy to get along with.  Nice  people . Very helpful when you needed anything. I will return in the future. I would suggest caregivers to anyone who is seeking employment in the homecare field.

I enjoyed my clients very much and felt I was making a difference in their lives.  Unfortunately due to staffing shortages, there was always not enough time to do the job in the way I would have liked.

I hate that I have to keep contacting them to be scheduled yet they have a scheduling manager! They are more focused on profit than clients wellness. Also don't care much about employees.
