a typical day at work-
Busy work, same as most companies require  10 hr work in 8 hr shift

what you learned-- dont work too hard, just leave work at work..no appreciation , no growth

management- too much centralized around couple people, result of anything depends on how their day is going..they try to show they are fair but in reality are not and favour the old/known staff members by providing them more opportunity to make more money/comissions which is unfair to other staff

workplace culture- it's ok,  few staff members are helpful and nice , including few back stabbers who are informers , complainers and liability but still there  due to links of their family members in higher ups..

the hardest part of the job- dealing with harsh emails every day to the staff ,management not keeping promises by offering a rent on discount and not fulfilling it..pushing staff members to move the movein dates already promised to tenants..No Raise or growth..on top clean the apartment before movein as the cleaning is contracted and that company misses things all the time

the most enjoyable part of the job- You are not surrounded by staff members all the time. Its better to rent less , keep your headache less , its seems like more money  but questions are asked why it was rented rather than being appreciative which is demoralizing

I would have to say the most enjoyable part about working at The Carlisle, is interacting with the residents. Talking to them about their day, about their family. Just getting to know them as a individual, was very rewarding. 

But I would have to say the most hardest part about the job is saying your goodbyes. Just knowing that day or night will be the last time you were to see them. Not seeing their smiling faces when you go back in for your next shift.

As a Sales Administrator my function is to ensure that all paperwork received is appropriately completed, scanned and delivered to all departments.  
The hardest part about this role is not being able to give every client what they want. With new construction, there can be issues that impact timelines and features to the property that need to be managed and unfortunately it is not always pleasing to the client.
Speaking with purchasers, can be the most difficult part of this role.

Calgary head office is supportive to the Edmonton sites, but there is need for Edmonton administrative office for more effective coordination of Edmonton projects.

Very fast pace environment with poor appreciation shown to site staffing. Communication on site very poor resulting stressful days.
Knowing your building dreams(homes) for individuals is the reward at end of day.

I really enjoyed the work and the experience I learned from working on one of their sites, however, I did not enjoy the amount of goofing around the crew i was with did

enjoyed working with the people there, fun laid back atmosphere, decent management was better years ago. did shipping and receiving unloading and loading trucks. mounted big tractor tires as well.

Overall enjoyed working for the carlisle group.   The VP of the company is great, along with the owners.    Great spot to learn new things quickly, and get experience.

The women in the accounting dept. were brutal.  They treated everyone in other departments badly.
Was only contract for a year and was laid off before my year was up due to lack of work.
