Management is unqualified, and lacks knowledge of the products, and manufacturing processes. They are abusive to certain employees. Blame is placed on production staff for management mistakes. there is an environment of double standards with some people treated with favoritism. There is no encouragement of initiative and suggestions for improvement are ignored or even punished. Rules are strictly enforced for some and ignored for others. 

It is like working in grade school. you have to take your boots off and put them in the hall like you are in grade 2. There is no future here. You are hired to do whatever they say without question (right or wrong) and be prepared to take the blame when it goes wrong. Worked there for 1 1/2 years, in that time 22 people either quit or were fired other than 1 person every one has less than 5 years seniority.

Avoid this company

Although many nice people in company, a single individual with too much power made life miserable for many workers in various departments.  This individual was given too much power and was nasty to most people.  When management was confronted they would do nothing as this individual had been employed there for a significant amount of time.  Too bad, the job was promising and was such that it could have offered some advancement and a good working environment had they  not allowed one individual to ruin the whole atmosphere.

Hopefully management made a productive decision to let go of that individual and the stress caused.

Other than that, it seemed to be a good company.  Average pay for the work they wanted you to do.  One of the few larger companies left in Lindsay to get employed with

42.5 hour week

When I was hired I was given specific instructions and information about the workforce and previous employees that effected the production output .
Backlog of production was a huge issue that our team overcame in a matter of six months or so.
As success came I was recognized for my accomplishments and according th the CEO he had heard nothing but good things about my performance. 
A change in managers and was no longer recognized for success.
The new manager was or has a family relationship with the original owners and put unreasonable goals on myself. 
End result without going into detail was my dismissal.
Carma could be a great fit with a good production team but be weary of upper management backstabbing. 

Quite possibly the worst morale problem I've ever seen in a company. It's where careers go to die. Although the salary offer was fair, they were very deceptive about the company culture just to get me to sign on. I left a pretty good job to go there, and I peppered them with plenty of questions about the work environment.They will tell you whatever they think you want to hear to get you to sign. Quite simply, it's a toxic environment for any blue collared worker. I was treated well because I was thoroughly qualified for the role. But I refuse to be a part of a repressive management team. They see zero value in anyone not in a management role. I really feel terrible for the staff in the production area. Great people, getting absolutely disrespected daily. 

Good people leave Carma.
If you care about your job you're not going to be happy.
Toxic work environment.
Total lack of knowledge from 
management. Owner has no idea of this type of workplace. Management team tells him what they think he wants to hear.
Everyone I talked to said they would leave if they could find another job.
Huge turnover. 
This place runs in spite of itself.
Some people without raises for 5 years.

Carma recently switched ownership back in 2019. Over the past 8 years of working there, there are many employees that you think of as family. Throughout covid and coming back from maternity leave they have been very accommodating to my work life/family life. I get the afternoon to work at home while looking after my son. I highly recommend working for Carma as they are very understanding and make sure you are happy and healthy where you are. If you are swamped with work you have support around you where they can help you with your workload.

This company has potential but senior management works effortlessly to minimize that potential. Senior management are antiquated in their thinking and their practices. They are not open to new ideas or opinions which discourages employees from giving their all. It's time for senior management to retire.

Project system design, configuration and preparation of installation specifications.
Project management, developing completion schedules and completion milestones for electrical subcontractors
System commissioning and Installation inspections
As Built documentation
Monthly customer service and billing agreements
Create and Update AutoCad drawings.

It used to be a great place to work until they hired a few narcissistic people who really didn't have the experience to be management but they were very good at gaslighting. I feel sorry for the ones I left behind when I got let go after it became CarmaCorp. The environment became very toxic and stressful.

Located in Lindsay Ontario . Leader in sub metering.  Manufacturing of  electronic metering . Clean modern work environment. ISO certified company. 
My roll is to assure quality metering products . This requires skills in testing, automation and reporting using hardware and developing software.
