Lots of great community members, sadly the good things about the job start and end with them. 
With no support from management and a fairly low pay level you have to rely on community support or a second job to really make ends meet. It's not uncommon to receive disciplinary actions against trying to keep yourself healthy and safe.  
Discouraging of taking time off.
They pay 6.5 hours for what ends up being 8+ hours throughout the day, not to mention if you are working locally, you are always 'on duty' as you will run into your community all the time.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Work outside,  and my work is needed and appreciated, and working close to home is helpful

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Drivers who do not obey the rules of the road

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
great but some locations would be better with some type of shelter from the rain


What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Good , some people are very pleasant and people with dogs are interesting

This is a fairly easy job, you work 4.5 hours a day and get paid for 6.5 hours, with two nice long breaks between the three daily shifts. It can be a bit stressful at times, and boring at other moments. Some of the pedestrians and drivers ignore you, sometimes dangerously so, but for the most part the people are respectful and appreciate the service you as a crossing guard are offering.

A typical day at work would be standing out in the lot and directing people where to go during busy show times. It is a customer service job so having a smile on your face when talking to guests is a must. The management is easy going as everyone in the company is super young. The hardest part of the job would be standing for long periods of time but if you like working outdoors this is the job for you.

The gentleman who runs it was very unprofessional talked very condescending when he was wrong and over a month pass by and still I wasn't even hired even though I sent all the necessary documentation that he kept telling me I didn't send but sent through text and email. Then when I addressed him about it he got upset and then declined the offer after already receiving my information for the job

They will lie to you through the whole thing. 
I was told that I would get full time hours. That was a joke. 
I got maybe 16 hrs in a month. 
Then I was let go with out any notice at all. 
DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. 
They are liars and they do not care about you. 
They are disorganized and everyone will tell you something different. 
I was never even given a uniform.

The company is completely hands off offering their employees zero support in the field. Supervisors are out of touch with what’s happening on the ground and rarely show up to check in. Requests and concerns regularly go unaddressed leaving employees in a state of constant limbo

Just a crossing guard job. Could be slow at time could be fast at times depends on the area. My trainer was really nice. Made me feel comfortable for the actual job. Be prepared to withstand all for of weather and to stand for 8-12 hrs

Great when looking for extra work on the side or a transitional job. Full time hours are available if you’re willing to work at different locations. All locations are within a 10-15min drive. 

A lot of free time, but at most ~ 2000 before tax income is barely surviving in Toronto.

A job that respected and loved by the community, but the no. of drivers and pedestrians that put themself and the others at risk are astonishing too.
