Carriage Hills Resort

So exhausted after a shift I cannot believe it. Staff are written up for stupid and petty reasons. Makes you wonder where Managements energy would be better spent improving things. AKA. Less time managing staff and more time fixing what is wrong at the resort. Hint: it is not the staff. When the resort reopened in June Management said they would be occupying the place at 60%. One month later the resort is running at 100%. This is after telling everyone that they were "only running at 60% occupancy" for there to be space between guests between units.  They have not hired any new staff for any part of the resort. Which means the same staff they had at 60% where rooms were ready and things were good are the same at 100% where rooms take 2-3 as long to clean (4-6 hours), 1-2 staff working at the front desk for there being 450 rooms, the phone ringing non-stop and rooms not being ready for check in at 4:00 PM. Guests over the past 2-3 weeks have not been getting into their rooms until 6, 7 even 8:00 PM at night. People cannot even get a late checkout past 10 AM. The staff are so overtired, under appreciated and unsupported. They need to hire at least 5 more people for the front desk and 10 more for housekeeping.

Long ridiculous hours and a GM who doesn't understand the importance of happy workers. Many days working over 8.5 hours in a job where its non stop labour intensive. Summers and Winters are worse. the benefits are the biggest bonus you'll get with this job.

I would recommend this company to anyone in hospitality field. Great management and atmosphere. Very inclined to encourage good and help you grow. Clients are great too! Excellent communication between employers and management .

The greatest experience I have ever had in a workplace. Positive people, great customers and amazing product and services offered. You were in control of your income and the work was fun and invigorating. Miss this place a lot!

very little room to advance, but it is secure.. if you like the hotel industry then this the place for you. Good benefits, pay is better then regular hotels.

Interesting group of employees working for the company. Hard not to get burned out in a call center environment. Benefits and sales structure were always changing creating a fluctuating work environment.

I am very happy at carriage hills. The management is very fair and I do have fun working. Great bunch of girls. Management is very understanding. I have been there for 4 months but doing well. I do enjoy it.

Nice place to work, good people, I enjoyed working with so many good people, some days were much busier than others, but at the end of the day , the job got done by everyone pulling together.
