A typical day at work as a labourer with Carson Energy consists of assisting every where on the job as needed. What I learnt is the values of having a job and enjoy doing it to the fullest. Management in the company are very knowledgable and fair about job opportunities. My co-workers were very helpful and willing to share their experience. There was no hard part of the job if you enjoy what your doing. The most enjoyable part of the job is getting complimented by my supervisor and co-workers.

The management is pretty bad, the guys who work in house welders fabricators are pretty good actually. But out in the oil field id say 70% are hard core drug addicts. And pretty open about it, dive in crew cabs do a few more bumps of coke and speed. Saw a guy and a girl employees smoking crack in a ditch beside a pipeline. Also fairly big oil spills constantly, no proper cleanup they just burried thier mistakes which happened all the time. The place will blow your mind for all the wrong reasons.

- We would weld all day. We worked 10 hours a day. Great co-workers to work with. Overall great atmosphere. Supervisor was well informative and told us everything that needs to be done or what is new. Updated us with information. 

Didn't love the drive everyday to there but I didn't mind because I knew I was going to work again for great people. I would definitely work with them again.

Good company to work for.  Wages were OK but could be a little better.  Away from home on most jobs which was not a problem but the scheduled days off were.  Not enough days off for the distance we all had to travel.  Co-workers were some of the best people I have ever worked with.

Decent place to work if your a local person, they don’t really like to hire people from out of town, don’t usually pay sub or put your truck on , all depends on the job they told me.  If your local it’s a great place to be if your not local I would keep looking for a company that pays sub or at least puts you up (they wanted me to pay them rent to stay in a rig shack)

I really enjoyed this company had a great job here but then the company was bought out from Flint Energy and it wasn't the same after. Flint had too many employees and did not know half of them whereas when Carson Energy had it,the owner knew each one of us personally and made sure he knew us and how our jobs were.

Worked for them in 2010. Imagine some changes have happened since then. Was well treated and provided with a good commercial package and all required resources. Manage,ment was inclusive and always available to reach out to.

Progressive company that continued to upgrade and implement changes as the times changed. Advancement was available throughout the company to those who worked hard and move up . It was one of the best things I did was to move into management.

I really enjoyed working in the field for Carson, Money was good, and the hours were good. if i had another chance to go back i would definetly..

It was an enjoyable job with many great learning opportunities. I loved working with the people and the management was great. Over the 3 years, i spent there i learned so much about hard work.
