When I started it was fun and exciting, now it's just a job where I go to work from 7 pm-3 am. I want to leave this place as soon as possible. 
My typical day at the casino is I deal the game called craps. My coworkers are very friendly, easy-going and a pleasure to work with. Mainly co-workers mainly consist of Asians (Chinese, Vietnamese, Filipino). 
My opinion is management is good but not great, recently they cut hours for many of the staff, mainly the dealers, always finding loop holes to save money and not in a good way. 
The hardest part of the job is the aforementioned 3 am close time and the fact that we have to deal with no-so friendly people from time to time. 
The most enjoyable part of the job is the people I work with, they're friendly, easy to get a along with.

It's a relaxed atmosphere, staff and patrons overall are friendly, management will have your back against abusive patrons(which tends to be very rare in my experience). 

Management (in my opinion) tries their best, but upper management feels archaic in their decision making and seem to be more reactive than proactive when it comes to their top down management style. One issue that plagues this place is management isn't on the same page, pit-bosses tend to follow their own path as to which rules to reinforce or not. There needs to be more meetings to reinforce a culture throughout the management which would then filter down to the dealing staff. The culture of your business will always settle with the bare minimum you're willing to accept from employees, good employees will trend towards this benchmark so set it higher.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Set up of equipment for the games, welcoming of guests and follow through with the playing of games, get to celebrate players successes, camaraderie and discussion on all topics, decent wages and gratuities, satisfaction at end if day.

Started at 3 am, cleaned washrooms, coffee stations, staff rooms, volunteer cage, main cage, offices, volunteer room,cleaned machines, poker pit and when poker was out cleaned that as well. for extra cleaning when there was time. We had to wash or dust down tops of the machines, wash wall/baseboards, windows, polish brass cups etc. Management is fine but hard to get things fixed. Staff is very nice and fun to be around. Getting up at 2:15 am and never getting proper sleep. Working with some of the secruity staff and joking around with them and laugh with them.

The co workers,but the management is horrible,no recognizing for hard workers,just treat them as furniture

As i said,the management is zero.profesional,just filling the position,not doing anything good for enviroment

Bad,toxic,unproper,unprofessional,just go with the flow thing

I would recommend this job to anyone who is starting out or working in the casino industry. They offer extensive training throughout the year on each game and promote your involvement to learn each game. The more games you know the more hours you are guaranteed to be working. 
Very reliable work, with easily approachable staff and superiors. It was easy to get what I wanted from this job and wish them and there players the best of luck in the future!

Casino makes you take a course on how to deal, and when you finish, they pay you min wage, infact they pay all the dealers min wage. Tips help, but management takes dealer tips and gives it to pit bosses and supervisors, because management is too cheap to give raises to anyone. 
If you lose a bunch of money, you are harassed and given the evil eye. 
The owners over the years have had labourboard rulings against them for not paying overtime.

Trying to be professional here in my review, but difficult, due to my bad experiences.

- The casino is a very "clicky" environment, and the stress from fellow employees can be too much for most people to handle.
- Working hours are unstable.
- Pay is erratically changing, due to the reliance of minimum wage + tips.
- The patrons (aka customers) are almost always rude and drunk.
- The flashing lights cause most people headaches regularly.

I'll leave it at that for now.

Ownership and management are unforgiving Long hours, no support, no incentive, no loyalty, not able to speak or convey thoughts or ideas without criticism, they will let you go without cause regardless of all the hard work you have done for them.this company should be shamed by Canada employment for staff be terminated without cause.

This was the first casino I ever worked for. It was a home away from home for me. It was your typical casino, a lot of the patrons who go there have been doing so for 40+ years. Everyone knew everyone by name. The food menu was amazing, top notch Chinese food and Dim Sun on weekends. When i wasn't bar-tending I served in the busy poker room tournaments.  Very well organized and fun to be around.
