I have worked here for almost 3 years now, started as an associate in a busy branch, then moved to the legal department. I am now a branch manager and am in the "right seat on the bus". I agree with some of the other comments, the hours can be long if you are having to cover for a sick co-worker - that is called teamwork. If you want to come to work, do your job only give 90% and go home - then please do not bother applying here. Cashco looks for people who are hard working, willing to do good and give back. Every company has its flaws, I love the fact that we have people who acknowledge and work towards fixing them. The environment is one of family, we care for each other as well as our clients. New products are always being looked at, new ways to help better the lives of our clients. We also have various programs to help the staff as well. Honestly, I do not know of any other company who, when covid hit, gave all their laid-off staff gift cards for groceries!
This is truly my end job, I am 50 years old and can see myself working at Cashco until I retire! Fun activities through the VIBE team throughout the year!
We are in a tough industry, people are coming to us at a low time in their lives, with their hand out - we are here to help them. In order to continue to help as many as possible, loans need to be paid back - so yes collections and recovery are part of it. Money that comes back, can then go out again to help others. 


This is an amazing company to work for.  Working in the client retention department you could not ask for more.  Flexible schedule, great performance pay.  Culture is second to none.  Operations Manager very understanding and supportive.  

All team members in that entire department are supportive and like family.'s, They celebrate with pot lucks for birthdays, anniversaries and team building.

If for any reason you are not meant for that type of position they do their best to fit you into another one as long as you have a great attitude and are reliable.

If anyone is ever let go from this company it is for good reason and usually attitude.

I only left because I moved.

The company has a good intention to help low income people but I am not really a fan of giving loan with a high interest rates. Work is busy during paydays but on the slow days you will feel like you are a call center agent doing a lot of calls -  reminder, collection and promotion. There is no proper procedures in place so management create their own rules sometimes, in short there is not consistency. I like the bank account products but more training needed to help the front line in explaining the procedures. Over all the company is okay, If you are looking at the position in the branch level it is good for starter but not sure how it is like in the corporate office.

At first the job is great. Until your upper management plays favorites and you’re treeated unfairly. Scheduled hours are not flexible and the work load piles up as the constantly add on more work for you. They tell you they pay commissions and give bonuses if you reach certain targets but constantly change the targets so you don’t succeed. Company says they care about employees but it’s a lie. All they care about is making money. Regional managers treat you poorly. If someone calls in sick it’s up to you to work open to close.

When I started here, it was a relaxed and fun work place. Our days consisted of helping in branch clients and focused on our branch and loan book. Everything ran smoothly. Once they started trying to expand beyond their means and blowing investor money, panic set in and it became toxic. One week everyone gets the max amount regardless of risk, the next week, it's impossible to get approved. It constantly changes and no one, including the ivory tower, knows what's going on. All employees are looking for new jobs because no one is confident or aware of where this company is headed. They recently went remote in hope of saving the company; good luck with that.

Management is a disaster. Employees are expected to do the job of 2-3 people without compensation. Computer system is convoluted and continually crashes. Management used cctv to watch and record conversations and will use it against you. Pointless video meetings almost daily which interrupts your work. You're basically set up to fail from the moment you start and with little to no training for anyone, regardless of experience. Unrealistic expectations of staff to see products and take advantage of people. Don't work here. You're better off at McDonalds.

Permanent position is really good no problem with hours. Sometimes time management is hard if you don't like to work in the evening specially. Associate shifts are from 12-8pm. Some days are relaxed some days are so busy it depends on the people demand. The Region i worked for was so helpful and professional. They gave good training before starting and overall a very good place for starting your career in financial field. Got to learn how to maintain professional relationship with everyone even with corporate. 

It breaks my heart into a million pieces to have finally said bye for good with Cashco. This truly is hands down an amazing company to work for. The only reason for me leaving was due to my management team in my region. Everyone else is so amazing. I felt my dedication and hard work was never recognized and all the little issues were constantly noticed. My branch was busy and the work load was too much for 1 person and they were in no rush to find me a new associate tr hey expected me to work 6 days a week at 12hr a shift.

Sitting job, lots of desk / computer time during the day. You'll spend most of it in front of a computer, helping out clients that phone or come into the branch. They have a lot of support through an online chat between all employees as well as a direct line to your region. Fellow employees are fun, and engaging. The hardest parts are probably dealing with the clientelle.

Cashco Financial use to be a great company to work for, however over the last couple years they have lost some of that value. The upper management has become greedy and will stop at nothing to achieve results, including making employees feel small. They do not have a proper training program in place and employees are often left feeling like they have no training at all. They are reprimanded for mistakes that were not included in their 'training'.
