What is the best part of working at the company?
My co workers are great people to work with. Great benefits and the company treats it's employees very well. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
How slow it can get at times. Sometimes it feels like there's nothing to do for periods at a time. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It's really good. It's healthy. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I'm just helping customers all day long

Most colleagues and customers are great. However, management  is very unhelpful! Also if you're a female that would like to progress in the career/workplace, this is not the place for you. Very much a gentleman's club to put it politely. Women are very much overlooked in this business. 

One of the better retail experiences I've had.  Contractors know exactly what they're looking for and tend to like having a friendly chat about their day.  Regular customers are often in need of advice and are more willing to listen to it when it comes to projects than at department stores.  The other staff tend to be knowledgeable so you'll learn a lot just by finding answers for customers.

You are paid weekly at the Crosby location

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The  yard is small and cluttered, very poorly setup, very little room to work.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic work environment, gossip, unmotivated, chaotic

Enjoyed dealing with the public and fellow employees constantly learning and growing. The hardest but also most enjoyable part of the job is learning how to deal with customers and trying to make there shopping experience worthy of becoming longtime loyal customers.

I don’t enjoy working here. It’s stressful and management needs to step up and take responsibility for things out of employees control.  Mangement does not care about their employees. 

If you want a job that isn't super stressful, like dealing with the public and if you know something about building supplies and construction, this is the job for you. Co-workers are easy to get along with and the management is easy to talk to.  Nice place to work

Great company and management to work for.  The journeyman electrician was very supportive and did take the time to teach the apprentice.  I enjoyed working there very much.

Castle made me gain retail experience and meet new people and friends. It also guaranteed me full time hours like promised and gave me the hours I needed to live off of

the best part of the job was the coworkers and the dogs that would come in the store it was a lot of the same repetitive work day in day out the dogs defiantly made it worth it
