What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Dealing with employees who feel entitled because they have been here forever or think they are indispensable. Being on a team that doesn’t know the overall vision of the Company. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is  really great. The company tries hard to do things for the employees and we keep seeing more benefits being added and more team building which is nice. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Every day is busy and there never seems to be a normal day. Customers are very important to the company and it’s not always easy to make them happy.  There have been a lot of challenges with the Suncor security breach but i put my best foot forward and hope for understanding. When we see challenges we also see  rewards for going the extra mile. Haha feel appreciated.

You start at midnight and there's 5 to 6 sites you need to do before 7am. each site had about 6 to 11 machine's  per site you need to climb onto most of them. The hose weights about 150lbs and its very easy to fall off a machine. Also the onbord computer you use for all the tickets is unbelievable slow and when your in a huge time crunch like you will be every morning it will crash and take 20 minutes to restart then you have to restart your tickets.After that you move onto filling all of the farmers fuel tanks and they won't be happy to see you because they've been out if fuel for 2 weeks by the time you get to them. Because your told to do the customers who take the most liters first and once you finish them you need to go all the back to the yard to get more fuel and that takes about an hour to fill. Most farmers tanks are in the air so you will be using a ladder for the rest of your day  and there about 13 feet in the air. You won't get home until 5 or 6 pm eat shower and go to bed because you start at midnight the next day.

 When this company had management last year they were a fairly good company to work for very family oriented very driven by their castle Core values.
 But upon new management in March and April of 2022 the entire segment Of their values and the way that they treat their staff has gone to the way side so badly.
 It truly is a shame to know that senior staff members do not treat their drivers or their office personnel with the same conduct or values that they take and focus so deeply on.
 If you think this is the job for you you may want to keep shopping. You will never get completely what is promised to you and even on paper those changes will be different, because it's what's best for the company at the very end of the day.

I love working here! I've never worked for a place where I've felt so supported and appreciated in my entire life. There are a lot of bad reviews on here, but we've had a ton of change over, and I think we finally have a fantastic team, great managers, great drivers, and the dispatch team rocks. It's turning around, and we have a great foundation to work with. Company paid benefits, wellness allowance, paid therapy. It's a lot of perks!! I love my job and my team! 

Working at Castle Fuels is comparable to being in an abusive relationship with a Narcissist.  Employees are over worked and undertrained, new employees are left to sink or swim with little to no direction or training from Management. HR and Management lack confidentiality, and regularly talk down about employees at meetings. The average life span of a Castle Fuels employee is less than a year. Those that have made it to a year are looking for other employment. On the upside, if you make it past 3 months, the benefits are pretty good.

In my time with Castle Fuels I found management to be very untrustworthy. Their culture is very phoney. Their Human Resources Department shared employees personal information with other employees. Management had frequent empty promises. They are very skilled at uttering false statements. They advertise flexibility - they are most certainly not flexible. All their senior staff have left. In summary- a very disappointing experience.

nothing, they are horrible. no job security

no training but expected to perform many tasks

it is the worst, the management is awful

stress, yelled at by customers for things that's head office could correct but don't

Company is a joke, lots of talk and no work. too much turn over at the corporate creates a lack of trust at the employee level. There are other better paying jobs out there. 
I would only take a position here if they weren't hiring at McDonalds
