I am a local stable hand at Cavalia, I had experience with horses, but not in a stable setting. They teach you everything you need to know. It is a really hard job in the sense that it is physical work, and you are required to lift heavy objects (hay bales, bags of shavings, full water buckets). I work the night shift, and I prefer it to the day shift. My typical day is: muck stalls, do water buckets, sweep, groom horses, walk horses, give hay, pick stalls, give grain, pick stalls, top water buckets, give hay, and then close stable (sweep, blankets, windows etc.). The day shift is more like : muck stalls, do water buckets, wash walls and help with turnout. My favourite part of my job was working with horses and my awesome co-workers, and I would say my least favourite part would be the time crunch sometimes, and I would really have to work hard to get everything done.

I've worked there for 2.5y and after all this time they steal my hours. Dont pay over time and cancel my shift without warning  And its alway your fault and never the bosses fault you're the problem and you dont listen to instructions. They say they're your friend but stab you in the back the next minute.
Upper management is corrupted and dont care about employee mental of physical health even if you have a medical paper that say you cant you'll still do it. 

you start your day by washing and preparing the horses for the show and or media even . wash brush and powder protections for shows on days off you disinfect protections . Check each of your horses for any cuts scraps or illnesses that can occur, help with feeding, washing towels , washing saddle pads , oiling bridals, washing bits , washing and oiling saddles, walking horses,warming up horses before and during performances. reporting and injuries to the vet teach and communication with riders

Under compensated, overworked, managers awful. Since they're a travelling show they don't really care about the local staff. 
Manager didn't even realize that he had to give us a break after 5 hours. A lot of micro-managing in a very small space. 
Lack of training- employees had to learn from each others and from trial and error. 
Only pro was getting to see the show for free

- Preparation, organization, re-stocking, polishing glasses, barista skills, help assist chef, maintain cleanliness, heavy-lifting, paint, guard gates, load and unload trucks.
- How to mix drinks, multi-task, how to work in a fast paced environment efficiently
- Management was vey considerate, easy to talk to, and made sure there as communication.

Upon arriving at the V.I.P. tent we would set up the venue for the public & prepare the hot plates for the V.I.P's which was prepared for them by a Cavalia Chef. At the show's start we clean our section and get it ready for the Intermission where we'd serve dessert such as Cookies and fruits Coffee and Drinks once Intermission over we'd clean up yet again and get ready for the Finally where we'd have artist returning to the tent to meet the V.I.P.'S whom stayed to get Autograph.

Co-workers were great, travel and perks were awesome. Management and owners of cavalia don't care about staff or horses. Don't buy what they tell you- it isn't all about the horses. They are like any other circuses and I assure you, the horses suffer from boredom, over work and being in a stall 23 hours a day. Not a good life for them!!!! If you love horses, DON'T GO TO THE SHOW AND SUPPORT THIS CRUELTY!

Great work experience. You work mainly under different supervisors who are there to help you improve. When you start working there, you receive a good training that helps you succeed at the job. 

It is not a difficult job, but can cause stress because of the high volume of calls at once. The hours are difficult because you can be asked to work really late when selling tickets to countries with a different time zone.

Working at Cavalia was a great experience. I learned excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as how to accommodate potentially difficult customers. It was a very friendly and comfortable working environment which translated directly to the success of our work. Our manager set a tone in the workplace very conducive to a productive and efficient work atmosphere.

A typical day at work was a very busy one. There, being able to multi-task was a must. A day would consist of shipping packages, filling, verifying invoices and sending out checks to vendors. 

From this experience, i learned a lot more than i expected to learn about accounting, which surprisingly for me was a joy
