central health treated me with respect and all the benefits i would have expected with the amount of knowledge and education i have.
my work day was based on normal operations of a healthcare facility.
i was involved in carpentary,plumming ,electrical, hvac.
i was confident in my work and was looked upon has a hard worker and a person that could be counted on to get jobs completed efficiently  and on time,
always enjoyed working with skilled trades workers and worked on par with all of them.
 heading towards retirement but not ready to stop working..
would have no problem using company for reference
i am now looking for seasonal or contract work and i am willing to travle to obtain work


During my time with the company, I observed that workload distribution was often uneven, with some employees consistently handling a significantly larger share of responsibilities. There were no formal processes in place for performance evaluation or recognition, which made it challenging for dedicated employees to recieve feedback or opportunities for advancement. Hiring practices appeared to rely heavily on internal referals, which sometimes resulted in varying levels of experience and preparedness. Overall, the work environment would benefit from clearer structure, consistent accountability, and stronger professional development systems.

I enjoyed the area I worked in.. excellent group of people to work with

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
working in emergency situations with skeleton crew

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Great learning experience..always something new to learn every day

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It was a nonstop work day.. you started at 8 worked til 4.. got your breaks.. great flow..pleasant environment

Working 12hr shifts often short nursing staffed. Poor management. Toxic workplace culture, gossip, backstabbing. Issues do not get resolved on a management level. Often denied time off, annual leave cannot be used. Mandatory overtime. Day and night shift. Shift work. Management treats RNs with more respect than LPNs. Overworked and under paid.

Worked as a team. Always had a family like atmosphere. Many opportunities for learning and advancement. Learned much through work and lunch and learn. Opportunity to attend many talks and learning sessions pharmacist always there to help and teach new things 

I found there are some issues with advancement and it is not done on you your ability or past. I have proven to be a great leader and well respected within the organization and the community. 

Short staffed, denied vacation time. Approvals for VAC given last minute (sometimes on the day requested off). Micromanaged by an inexperienced manager who lacks empathy. No recruitment/retention of much needed additional staff.  

I worked there for about 32 years. It though me a lot, of how to work with others , and as a team . Manager we’re helpful in most cases when things need to get done. Overall a good place to work.

Terrible management, dangerous workloads, lack of support, pressure to work overtime to account for poor retention and recruitment. Calls for change go unheard. 

Understaffed is the biggest problem. Staff they have are great. Training and support offered. Permanent full time positions available. Hospital is older .
