Central Neighborhood House has an amazing environment with friendly staff and kids who are always engage. It taught me to the importance of responsibilities and planning ahead as I transition from becoming a Focus On Youth staff to an official staff for the camp. Overall my time there as being a camp counselor has affected me as a person by the way I treat people and realizing the importance of teamwork while working with youth.

I was volunteering there to earn my required forty community hours to go towards my high school diploma. I enjoyed working with my fellow volunteers, the only thing I didn't like about it was that the breaks were too short for the amount of time we worked.

I felt very welcome as a volunteer at Central Neighbourhood House and would recommend it to anybody looking to gain volunteer experience. It was a rewarding experience and I plan on doing it again.

Co-workers are fun and very polite easy to work with. I learned how to work more efficient with the chirldren. I enjoyed every part of this job the kids were great. The hardest part i would have to say was leaving.

The whole team is awesome, the open door policy is reassuring.  Share leadership can be a challenge but the reward of seeing your projects come to fruition is fulfilling in itself.

Central Neighbourhood House is a great establishment, as it allows for both the staff members and the children to learn valuable lessons from one another.
