Central Zone Referee Committee

I definitely have enjoyed my time as a a referee and look forward to more successful seasons in the future. The amount of advice and my growth as a referee has been incredible. Being able to have the ease of your own preferred schedule while being payed to help the younger generations build their own identity. The hardest part wouldve been waking up at 7 in the morning and reffing a novice game, but was worth it in the end. I enjoyed the car rides and  the endless storytelling from my peers.

I worked as a referee/linesman for a year now and so far it has been great. The job is easy to balance with school or a social life and it pays well. Although the job is physically demanding it is very fun and is easily one of the best jobs I've worked to date. The higher ups are easy to contact and the people that you get to work with are very pleasant and are great to be around.

My time at the Central Zone Referee Committee was very good. The management was terrific and the people I met were amazing. Very supportive and understanding. Really seemed like they pride themselves on making the game of hockey a much more safe environment for kids to enjoy the game.

Central Zone is a great place to work as it fits in with the other activities you do, like hockey.  You work games that are 1 to 1 1/4 hours long but you need to get there 30 minutes early.  You are responsible for yourself as there are no adults supervising you.  The hardest part of the job is dealing with upset parents and coaches.

100& Flexible hours and SUPER easy to contact if anything goes wrong. Always watching out for you and hold meetings to answer questions and help out as much as they can whenever they can.

You can choose when you want to work so you can manage your time better and do my always have to be ready to leave. You also have to be ready when your working or many people will get mag at you

Its a job for someone who loves hockey you can control the game and you get to be the boss. fantastic job you get excersise and the pay is great side money for a student or anyone who enjoys the game of hockey

very stressful at times refereeing hockey, you always have to on the ball and understanding on whats going on everywhere on the ice. if you have the hockey knowledge and know how to skate, I defiantly recommend!

Great for if you love hockey.  Good process of moving forward to higher levels, great pay.  Great support system for learning the job. You can make a ton of money if you are available for games.

Decent way to stay fit, interact with the game and make some money. Flexible times and locations that you get to choose. If you want to be involved in a game you love this is how.
