Not the job for someone that wants to advance their career and learn the trade. Pay is unacceptable. They get u doing something u know and that’s it. if u can install toilets, sinks etc that’s all you’ll be doing. They stick u on something and that’s all you’ll be doing. 

Very fast paced environment. I assisted skilled tradesmen as well as foreman and site superintendent. A typical day at work included moving pipes, receiving deliveries, working with crane riggers to ensure deliveries were put in the right spot safely and out of the way, helping plumbers fit drainage and gas lines, using power tools such as: grinders, concrete chippers, hammer drills, and various other drills, snap cutters (used to cut cast iron pipe). Lots of heavy lifting 70+.

Owners and upper management were great and co-workers were as well.
Some former and current foreman though, thought it was a good idea to threaten jobs to encourage people to do over-time or work faster which lead to a very negative workplace environment

Found the work culture to be toxic.  Project manager isn't the most positive or helpful as a manager.  Lots of empty promises. One of the lowest paying journeyman rates which leads to lack of manpower and a stressful work environment. If you show up a minute late you lose 30 minutes of pay.  Company really needs to update some of their policies and keep up with the demands and treat their workers a lot better.

learning different tasks and lots of information

if you do the things right  way there is no stress

it's great and fun so I really like it

like usual, complete the given task and move to next one

Highly toxic work environment with constant threats of job action to the crews. They hire grossly incompetent management (simply friends and drinking companions) and their Safety program is atrocious. The “HR” rep forgets to pay people, and never even attempts to help any of the employees.  Very poor trade install quality and no real wisdom or experience steering the ship.

During my time with Centurion Mechanical, I enjoyed learning as much as I could. If you are interested in learning the plumbing/gasfitting trade, they will do what they can to accommodate. They proactively send apprentices to school to increase their knowledge and enroll you when the time comes.

I've had great success learning with a couple great leaders but I have had a very decreased interest working with this company due to some crew leaders as you don't learn anything at all! I've started feeling very unhappy with my job place! Due to the ignorance and lack of learning

Great ppl to work around! 
Jokes laughs pranks...it makes worth wild to go to work each day!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Waiting on material! 



And when you get material...its all back ordered.

I came in to with all my heart. I did my job as best as could in a safe and productive manner. I really liked my crew members even if they irritated me at times. I did learn as always new and more efficient ways to do my job. The hardest part of the job was putting up with my supervisor.
