Company went from successful to most staff quit or has to take other jobs to live.
No pride in business. Encouraged to get the job done as quickly as possible and fool the client into paying. Shortcuts in products used and improper application is common
Subs don't get paid as they were told.. weekly. Holdbacks constantly without notice. Usually because payments from homeowners haven't been processed. Only company (other then goverment) that expects workers to keep coming to work without paying them what is owed.
Work has dwindled to nothing as new sales staff is unskilled/unknowledgeable.
good opportunity crumbling under bad management without eagerness to right anything.

Certa Pro is an excellent place to plant your feet into a knowledgeable and competitive ever changing industry.   I have nothing but praise for my previous employer and the many former work colleagues that were so supportive and knowledgeable.  It was unfortunate that we were hit with fear of a non existing fake virus that affected the sales and production in this workforce.  All the best to such an excellent company and team.

Learned proper painting and decorative design ideas
Great management and boss was always understanding and down to earth
Great co-workers would work with them again
Hardest part was never constant hours but worked most days of the week
Most enjoyable part was working outside in the summer with a good balance of indoor painting too

One of the worst places I have ever worked, but please don’t take it from me, go and apply and find out for yourself, they are a company that is eager to sweep mistakes under the rug and don’t seem to care about customer care, oh and if you’ve never painted before but want to learn, GOOD LUCK with these people, it taken almost 3 months for them to show me anything and even then what they showed me I found out later to be improper !

I found working in Certapro Painters very interesting and quite friendly an environment. Though short lived by my ankle injury. It's a place I would like to go back and work if there is opportunity to do so. I wish them the best in their quest to excellence in customer delivery and growth as a company.

If you are a Journeymen painter its not a good company for you, your supervisor/foremen may not have the same qualifications/experience as you and there for can not help you if you run into problem.

Don’t waste your time unless you want to listen to immature, arrogant managers, who care more about their YouTube channel than they do about making themselves relevant in a saturated market. You’re better off starting your own painting company than working for these clowns.

Awesome culture, they provide as much work as you want. Have awesome staff meetings on friday with beverages and pizza provided. If you can perform at a high level of service, and get your work done fast you can make big bucks with a ton of guarenteed work.

I learned everything I know from this company, great culture, environment and mentorship program in place. I am just reaching my maximum potential here and need to expand my wings and fly with a larger organization.
