What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
They expect so much for what little that they give you to work with. Half the time you don’t have the materials that you need to meet quotes that they expect you to get. They don’t meet the standards that they expect you to get would never return.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It’s not a good place to work for. One hand doesn’t know what the other ones doing you can never get a straight answer. One minute things are go the next minute things have all changed. Again they do not have the right materials to do what you need to do. One minute you’re told to do one thing and then the next minute you’re told not to do it or that one way and then it changed to another way. No happy Medium. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
You always worried whether you had a job or not. Because of not having the hangers not having the rocks not having work to do at times. Not knowing if you’re gonna get your quota because of these reasons. And if you don’t make quota, you might not have a job, all of a sudden, the company changes hands again. And the next thing you know you let go.

In the 7 months I worked there I saw a lady almost get taken out by the forklift driver, he then had the audacity to turn around and tell her he wished he hit her. Horrible people and management did nothing for this woman, they turned it around and made it as though the driver did nothing wrong/he wouldn’t do that. Management picked favourites, there was no training provided, it was unsafe work conditions. There was a flood in the store and it hit some major areas where we had things plugged in and we had to continue working when the water was within feet of our tables. On multiple occasions the washrooms were flooded and we had no where to use the washroom the whole 8 hours we were there, management let it go on a few days before they even called anyone in to fix it. Benefits literally only cover you for some prescriptions and the most minimal dental care, no vision care though.

I worked at Channel Control Merchants as a forklift operator and overall had a positive experience. The local supervisors and management were really nice and approachable, always willing to help when needed, which made the job easier day-to-day.

The warehouse was organized and safety was a clear priority, so operating forklifts and handling materials felt secure. The work could get busy at times, but the team environment made it manageable and more enjoyable. I also appreciated being able to learn and improve skills like inventory handling, order picking, and general warehouse operations.

While there may not be huge opportunities for long-term career growth, it’s a reliable place to gain hands-on warehouse experience with supportive leadership. I’d recommend it for anyone looking for steady work in a warehouse with a friendly, cooperative team atmosphere.

To start my first calendar year employed by them I had more incorrect paychecks then correct. 

The work culture itself is horrible like your back in high school with all the cliques, pettiness and drama. Management generally being the cause of all the rumors and pettiness not respecting privacy and conversations on floor where everyone can overhear. 

They are famous for covering up incidents when it come to health and safety and labor issues, people that speak up get fired. 

Only friends and family get promoted ... 

employees are generally treated like garbage

aside from that it is full time hours Monday-Friday 8-4 with benefits

The people were amazing and I really enjoyed my time working there. They were very supportive of my education. I highly recommend working there.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The hours can be tiring, but the people make up for it...it's a great environment

Very friendly and fun also professional at the same time

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Putting out clothes on racks, keeping rhe are clean and assisting customers and answering price checks

literally the worst workplace I can think of - absolutely disgusting how they treat employees, management doesn't care and will play favourites and promote their children's friends without regard for another's experience, etc. raises rarely if ever happen (applied three times for a raise in 2 years, rarely missed work and was always taking on extra assignments in the office), and was denied every time, while a co-worker's best friend, who had just started and hardly ever showed up was handed a large raise because her friend worked there.

Do not work here if you value your worth.

i applied for the warehouse associate to work on the line and i swear theres no consistency with this place. im almost moved around on a daily basis and not knowing where and what im doing the next day is annoying and irritating. 

the line needs to be stopped and adjusted always. the culture here is down right toxic! forklift drivers speed and dont care. management doesnt need to care. they listen but nothing happens...

for the love of God, please avoid working here. it may be a job that pays but have more respect for yourself and dont work here

This place is a sad joke. Minimum wage Bare level benefits Lot of favoritism. Often out of Basic supplies to do your job. Rushed and very understaffed Unsafe and they break safely rules constantly.  Only promote friends and Favorites to lead hand positions. Very mismanaged and dont listen to safety concerns  of their employees Would rather lecture then encourage and train properly.  
Some very nice people you work with and alot of child like young adults that would rather not show up for work.

I have to admit, I have alway's loved working here and the people I worked with. However some time's people are way too caught up in issue's that are irrelevant to their job's or even themselves. There was alot of immaturity there, sometime's the warehouse got backed up and made it unsafe condition's for both the forklift operator's and the line worker's. I liked everyone in management and never had an issue except that they were fairly unorganized and it made for a stressful day when they didn't listen to you about concerns or recommendations.

End of day..leaving and weekends off

Lack of leadership by management..different rules for different people..frustrating

Toxic...clicky...unable to advance within company..no reviews..no performance feedback
