Chateau Lacombe Hotel

I moved to Edmonton from Nova Scotia in July 2019. This place was the only place that hired me and I got the front desk position within 2 weeks of me living here, 

I enjoyed my time working there before Covid 19! I met a lot of great people who are now my friends. The only thing that is negative is that there is no room for growth/advancement. I have over 12 years experience working in a hotel setting and I wanted to move up to be a supervisor. The hotel is unionized. You have to be working there for awhile to move up!

I am very detail oriented and enjoy working with  staff, contractors, suppliers and guests  in a focused environment  
I am very committed with great  compassion for people and places     I enjoy hands on training  and setting goals.  Training  for other  management positions would definitely be highlight .

Night auditor mostly work with one or two people through out the shift. Overall great experience working. Minimal supervision over night, but was expected by management to do all the work in minimal pay.

The job provides me with the hours I need and the means to have a way of life.  Good feedback and leadership.

I enjoy working nights as it gives me the chance to lead and show I can work well with little supervision

the most enjoyable job and easiest job ive ever had and lots of high personality person the would talk with, but overall its a nice place to work but smaller money that you get

Great place to work with, all the employees are very friendly and the top management always make time to say hi and talk to employees. You get to meet different type of people from different backgrounds. -raki

My first hospitality experience start here. It's a nice hotel located center downtown Edmonton. Always busy but in order. Staff are friendly and very nice to work with.
