This job is an excellent place to build experience, but is not somewhere you want to work all your life. There are lots of advantages like competitive salary and commissions but is not a place for people who do not like to deal with angry or grumpy customers. You will get tough situations at work all the time, and if you are a person who likes challenges, this company is great to work with. I personally found the experience great because I've finally learned some great negotiation techniques with customers as well as professional communication and problem solving skills.

Chat-r was practically my dream job. The hours were great, because I got 35-40/week but they were always willing to work around my life. Both managers I had in my time working there made sure things got done, but were very laid back and easy to approach. Our customer base was very specific, so we were aloud to be a little more aggressive with them, which made it so you never had to go home wishing you could have said something. The uniform rules were flexible to the fact that I am a larger size, and the company made me feel comfortable.

There wasn't much room for advancement but I was content in my position.

Large majority of the time you're helping people pay their bills or setting them up to activate a phone plan or buy a phone. Lots of down time so the work days were long. 

No supposed pressure to sell more, but was paid minimum wage for those efforts, sometimes less than that. 

Most customers were pleasant to deal with, but obviously you'll get mad and stubborn customers every once in a while, as you would expect from a wireless carrier. 

Would recommend if you want a more chill job, just make sure you find good management that treats you like a proper employee.

I worked at a store so not directly under chatr as a corporation but under the store management. Relatively easy work and it was a slow paced environment for me but this depends on the location of the store. Job was flexible and it management was excellent. Only problem was salary and no benefits. 

the environment was really friendly and due to variety of customers the work place used to be very energetic. 
the manager and the co workers were really good and due to a telecommunication  company sometimes the problems were really challenging.

Chatr was an amazing experience for me personally, It helped me acknowledge new technology as well as taught me how to be an active sales person and to always be alert and help customers for their needs.

This was my first job after I arrived in Canada. The management is friendly, supportive, and helpful. I was able to learn a lot from my manager who is hands down the best. 

interacting with clients for  billing enquiries, equipment issue,  purchase of mobile phone and services,responding to client needs and inquiries for the functionality of their device.

Whenever I work, I try selling phones and plans. I learned a lot of communication skills and the workplace is fun. I like the people I work with. The hardest part of the job is when I don't get the sale.

great company and management. the work environment was clean and safe due to it being at the airport. saw many new faces throughout the shift. met a lot of new people as well
