Drivers beware they you the world and do nothing expect you to cheat on your elogs the expect you to pay for any damages to the loads trailers any missing straps broken straps chains Boomer's this is definitely not a place to work in all of my experience18  years the worst possible company I've ever worked for in my life still waiting to get my final check after 30 days you have to change trailers you have to take everything out of one trailer put it in another trailer and they will make you do this twice to three times a week for free if you ask for any kind of assistance from the yard Personnel they look at you and Walk Way the office staff if you ask for any assistance for anything you are belittled and ridiculed  and basicly ask if you know what you are doing

Chohan is run by people that continually find ways to scam their employees & owner operators. 

This place will tell you everything you want to hear until you are hired.  They will take extra payments off your statement, they will hold your money for months if you chose to move on to another more reputable company. They charged for drug testing fees even though I was not drug tested once. Also they take off $150 log book auditing fees monthly. I have never heard of these type of fees with any other company I worked for.  Isn't that what their 20% is for?  As an owner operator that ran all over the country I would take home under $3000 a month.  The first month with the honest, trustworthy company I have started with I took home over $12000 running the same amount of miles.  Sounds fishy to me!!

Having worked at other asset-based companies, Chohan Carriers is one of the most organized Flatdeck companies in the Lower Mainland. 
They offer solid, consistent work (never a shortage), drivers are paid on time electronically, extended benefits, and have brand new equipment.

They are always willing to help a driver out when they need it, have a replacement truck to use when one is in the shop.

The dispatchers work extra hard to ensure the drivers are covered, and they pay waiting time.

Its a fun place to work, and an excellent place to build a long-standing career. I love my job at Chohan Carriers.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Company was good but not anymore there's new un-experienced co-worker and dispatch team 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not keep those promises.  New driver don't know about duties and responsibilities. Dispatch team unprofessional. No respect at all 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Not Canadian standards. They don't care about your experience they deal u as they deal slave 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
When they give me load and not bother follow up call

Treated poorly and unprofessional. Equipment isn’t looked after. Their trucks are patched together and not maintained. Nothing is provided todo your job. You have to hunt for straps amongst other items as the company is all about profits and doesn’t care. They put all the risk on the driver. Try to make you do things that risk your license. When you say no they use it to write you up. They go through drivers steady as ppl leave frequently. Should be put out of business. They are what’s wrong with the industry. 

The Chohan Family are excellent.
They have done a great job by growing the company, by offering drivers year round work, and job security. 

They give raises and I am hoping to become an Owner-Op in the near future. 

This company truly cares about the driver, their families and is willing to go the extra mile for their customers. 

No bs, they are the real deal.  

Dispatchers, Manager, Safety, Payroll, everybody busts their butts to make it happen.  Drivers have it good at Chohan.

No matter where you turn, you will see a Chohan truck driving down the road. These guys have the nicest equipment, and man, the drivers themselves are really decent.  I broke down by Hinton, and two guys stopped to make sure I was ok.  They helped me get to the next shop. 

I now work at Chohan, and can proudly say I am no longer oilfield or overworked like that.  I keep a clean, straight life- and they hold me accountable.  Love my career at this company.

I have spent years trying to find a company that truly gets it. Where the drivers are heard, no matter where you came from, and has their stuff together.
There is no such thing as a perfect employer, but there is the Chohan family and their staff.  They really know how to run a company properly, and everyone really give it their best.  
Expect to work hard, and be rewarded.
Fair treatment, benefits, and a good dispatcher or three will keep your wheels turning.

Most companies don’t invest the time into their staff, or equipment the larger they get. Chohan is the opposite, because you see their new trucks and trailers on the road- everywhere.  This is a good sign, especially for a flatdeck company.
I have been at Chohan for a few years now, and I like everyone a lot.  Trucking is still going down the highway, but it does makes a difference when your employer takes the time to get to know you.

Chohan is the employer I have been looking for.  Worked for many companies before, all of which who haven't met my needs.

Staff are awesome, they fill your truck with extra LTL when you have space.  Pay on time by direct deposit, benefits get my teeth cleaned.

I am in the process of buying a second truck, which means I am clearly doing well.
