Like any restaurant there are good people and bad people but theres always cash in your hand at the end of the night. Customers believe they are in a fine dining resturant (even though the food is cheap af) so sometimes people can be pretty ridiculous with their expectations and want you to give them above and beyond when they are only going to tip you $8. Tips do rely on you pretending that you know how to make an espresso and can get every point of service as accurate as possible. Work here if you want but youre going to have to wear an ugly uniform with a tie and an apron that resembles the length of a pencil skirt.

The new management is completely horrible! It was fun working under the previous management and I liked it. Suddenly everything changed! 
Old management is gone and new one took over and they put extra work and pressure that we are not supposed to do! 
My job takes a lot of physical energy already running and doing literally everything at front. But these wasn’t enough! New employees are so lazy that I can’t even explain in words! They would leave their work for us even when it’s not that busy! Terrible!

Workpace is fine if you're hard working, only very busy on Friday Saturday. Depend which station you work but prep are decent enough if you know how to plan, people are nice but not everyone. 2 out of 3 supervisors are very nice and helpful, the other one is a little difficult, rude, annoying and short tempered. However, asking for a raise after a long time hard working may be impossible and take long time to happen even though they promise on and on with lots of excuses. 

For sure, you get to say you work at a Yorkville location, which by itself impresses a lot of people, but the standards that they hold at this place is quite poor, more specifically the management system, and how the tipping is done. A Good place to start working as a waiter, with many future potentials if you learn as much as you can yourself. 

The customers that come into this restaurant are great people and leave great tips! Unforturnelty managers pool tips and give more percentages to their favorite employees rather than be fair. A very uncomfortable and dirty environment for people of color. If you're not a favorite of the manager, expect little to no shifts at all. Expensive uniform and overall a terrible place to work, avoid it at all costs. 

A good place to start work in the restaurant industry, with really nice and friendly co-workers. 
Management tries to listen to you, however, as soon as you tell them about your availability that they don't like, they stop to give you shifts at all. And without any reason just firing you. 
I really enjoyed working there, but this way of working with the staff is not respectful!

cibo has great staff that make you feel at home right away, they give you the opportunity to expand and become a server, bar tender, or even let you work the events downstairs. The only hard part about cibo is that youre expected to know almost everything about the restaurant, to avoid coming to the manager for assistence

if I do not work in that place maybe I never learn how to make pasta pizza and seafood properly. all stuff are very friendly, big place. so far I feel proud myself to work that Liverty grant industry. 

Avoid this place. They will hire you, promise you shifts and call you off for 100% of them. You barely get scheduled, therefore you hardly work. They also make you pay for a server pouch and T-shirt that is over $80 just to sit in your closet when you get called off every week. 

Management and ownership is awful. Shifts are either way to short or they cut everyone around you and you're stuck in the weeds with zero help from management. Constantly closing early and turning away guests despite what it says on the website.  Most of the staff are great but management is really really terrible.
