I don’t even know where to start at how horrible these people are to work for.

They didn’t pay for Training, they refused to pay for STATUTORY Holidays (until 3 people called the labour board on them) Even if you are working a 3 hour shift you are forced on a 15 min break. 

Management is a joke. They are literally the most money hungry family I have ever worked for. They lack empathy, humility and common sense practices. 

They are so unorganized that they all left on a family vacation without training the new staff (after two ppl abruptly quit in the span of a day) They don’t even have a Manager on site. Everything is left to untrained employees.

It’s a constant game of miscommunication. You’ll be told you are doing things wrong, when you are doing them right after arguing back and forth. 

All HEAD OFFICE trained staff have all left. No one has time for this nonsense.

This place is best for high school students who know nothing about work. This way they can walk all over you and you won’t notice. 


WORST FAMILY EVER.

the only good thing about cinnaholic is the workers that make the place worth working in. there is no manager and the owners dont know how to run a business and are very absent, however, they micro manage everything and dont even trust their shift leads. they dont stand by the promotions the promise when you interview with them and dont like the sense of community that the employees have with eachother. an overall stressful environment and passive agressive actions in oppose to communication.
i started working here because of my love for baking and they managed to destroy that for good.

Working here is extremely easy the managers are lax and there truly aren't many customers that come in. With that being said because of the lack of business there were times when only two people were working at night (when we had small points where we got busy) and it was frustrating being the only person to take orders from instore customers and from food delivery apps, along with making each person's custom order. Management frequently didn't schedule many of the employees that were hired leaving them without work? Overall its a simple job but its not well paying or exactly a fun environment.

This job allows you to be creative while customizing and creating different variations of frosting and toppings on cinnamon roll buns. It is like working at a fast-food restaurant in the way that you deal with very picky customers, plus only minimum wage. Although, unlike fast-food you have the ability to bake many fresh desserts.

Management sucks. Extremely unprofessional, with a lot of favouritism. Seemed very “highschool drama”, with the manager spreading -false- harmful rumours to staff about other employees.  Not only that, but manager was barely any help during stressful rushes (didn’t even know how to make hot chocolate). Management was almost never present. Okay pay, and the job itself was easy, but NOT worth the stress.

Worst experience I've ever had. I was expected to be a pro after only one training shift and when I was trying to learn as much as I could as fast as possible I was told to stop talking and just watch and then I got in trouble because I didn't do everything exactly as she did. Ridiculous. They should train people properly before they expect a better performance.

Literally got no shifts and then got fired over email because they over hired and had to let part timers go. Extremely annoying because people had to miss school and there second jobs to one week of job training.

It a good place to work if you want to do repeatitve tasks. The store is not too crowded so not stressful at all but that means you may not get enough working hours.

Was an easy job to handle but to much workers not enough hours. Management could have been more professional and scheduled staff evenly so we all have hours. Favouritism in the work place

Fun job while I was in college, good pace, creative environment. It was the first location in our city and it was super busy at first, unfortunately slowed down which meant less hours.
