City View Retirement

Managers will seem to find any reason to let go of staff or will treat staff like garbage until they leave on their own terms. Very stressful. No benefits. Everyone there seems to make minimum wage or just barely above. Revolving door of staff in the Dietary department. Everyone is always in a nasty mood which rubs off on the residents. Nasty mood most likely coming from overworked staff. Cried myself to sleep multiple nights because of the amount of stress I had to deal with. Nothing you do is ever good enough.

I have been working at City View Retirement Home for over two years and I only have good things to say about it. I couldn't be happier. My coworkers are truly my work family. They have my back and we work together as team. My manager is the nicest person who truly cares about me, The home is beautiful and the resident are so pleasant. The owners are present and deeply care about their employees. I look forward to going to work every day. 

City View Retirement Community on Meadowlands is a great place to work and fantastic staff. I love this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great career in retirement. I enjoy working here and look forward to my days spent with the residents and staff. 

Scathing toxic. THE worst place ever.
Dirty washrooms. Inept service. 
Mayhem confusion. Total incompetence 
In all manners of management. 
Back stabbing. Thrive on rumors.
Under average pay. Inability to fix all poor quality equipment. 
On the good side....not a thing. 
You have to be mentally ill to want to work here. Forwarded.

Terrible management, lack of extra staff. The place is a relvoving door everyday there's is New staff . Staff either quit or fired for no reason.  Staff is overworked with less pay. STAFF END UP DOING JOBS THAT DONT APPLY TO THEIR JOB DESCRIPTION. There is no staff appreciation like other regiment homes.
Terrible experience

i worked for like 1.5 year , with no increment and more work and plead for always shifts .
worst shifts that u cant even work somewhere else also.
always mistake in paycheck.
no respect.
nobody work here for long.
 

City View is a great place to work. Everyone helps each other out when needed and management is understanding and easy to approach. Owners are also very approachable and always look to see how they can better the work environment. 

Since starting at City View, I feel at home. It's easy to come to work and it feels good. The residents love coming down in the lobby and we chat all the time. The folks here are happy.

I would always come in and start my day with greeting the residents
then would proceed to setting up the dining room get the waters ready make sure all tables where properly set before lunch started

One of the best decision I could have made!!!!! I really enjoy going to work and putting a smile on all the residents and most of all being acknowledged for my hard work!!!!!!
