In my role, each day brings diverse challenges typical of the service industry. I've gained extensive industry knowledge and personal growth through interacting with a variety of people. Upper management is exceptional—humble and supportive. While the workplace culture could benefit from improvement, there are many dedicated colleagues. The job's demands can be challenging due to factors beyond our control, at times disrupting even the most well-planned days. Nonetheless, the rewarding aspect is collaborating with a team of committed individuals striving to meet customer needs effectively.

A typical day at work was calm, and you could set your own pace while doing work as long as it was completed at the end of the shift. Overall, a very inviting place, with personable workers. I learned how to use computer applications to scan and sort files into the database. The management is very accommodating, helpful, and friendly. My co-workers were older then i was, but still tried to connect and talk to me. The hardest part of the job was sitting at a desk for extended periods of time. The most enjoyable part of the job was talking to my co-workers.

Summer Fridays at 2 pm  cannot be beat!

It’s a Toxic environment that lacks esteem for its employees

Work work work !
Favouritism abounds and you are not adequately compensated

Start work.     Wait until it’s over

No best part, nepotism is rampant, training inadequate.  

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Disorganized, lack of training.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Lonely, critical, clique. Older workers and women are not favored.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy mornings, moderate once emergencies settle. Panic near the end of each day.

It is a great place to start your career. Everyone is very helpful and supportive, and the managers genuinely try their best to assist whenever you have questions about your work. The work environment is friendly and collaborative.

However, there are fewer opportunities for career growth within the company, and the salary is relatively low compared to the amount of work and responsibilities.

They were not a great company to work for

They were not team oriented and I was left to find everything on my own

Boys club not a healthy culture or environment 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Working alone no teamwork or support

It’s so disorganized, stressful and most of all belittling environment.  Managers with no training are based in Toronto! With little to no contact with any of them unless you make a mistake , and you will as there is absolutely no staff training for admins.
Poor communication from all parts of the company.
This place is a nightmare to work for! 

At first it seemed like a very nice place to work, after awhile I began to notice that it played favoritism by the HR department and a couple of people were very flirty with all the males in the building and with the techs
and because they were well liked by HR nothing was done and the language did not belong in an office environment.

They lack the training that is needed to succeed since the merger. 70% self learning 30% training is what I was told was expected of me. Management also talks trash about employees to other employees which is highly unprofessional. Management were not encouraging or supportive. Very belittling when you ask questions trying to learn.

Classic is one of the leaders in fire protection in the country.  It has grown quickly in the past few years, which sometimes comes with its challenges.  But the company does a good job going out of its way to take care of its employees.  There are lots of growth opportunities and the company works hard to take care of its customers.
