Great staff meal discounts, room discounts.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Never enough clean laundry to do job properly 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Supervisors and  older front desk staff are bullies. Don’t celebrate staff for the hard work enough. Union so it is a Me mentality not a team environment.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Mornings were about stalking carts that were left destroyed the shift before, senior staff coming to take things from your floor as they felt their job was more important than yours. Supervisors counting linen to give out. Even witnessed a yelling match between Laundry and a room attendant.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Fellow workers. Everyone looked out for one another. H/k, maintenance, restaurant, laundry room, janitors. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Managers/supervisors. Favoritism, been there Ling time, barely had to work, was put on new workers or workers they don't like.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Depends on supervisor. Good mood = good day..bad mood=.makes life hard for workers they do not like. 
 What culture, although h/r tries her best to help.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stress...stress..stress..few workers take stress leave. Can't report to anyone, g.m accommodates the supervisors. One who complains gets a discipline letter.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Honestly I never found anything GREAT WITH THIS COMPANY

Over working employees with zero gratitude for your hard work

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Environment was good at times w/ certain co-workers
.Administration staff. Was mostly very unpleasant!

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Work hard for Full 8 hrs +& changing of shifts frequently without any notice. Then call you late

Would not recommend to anyone wanting career advancement, or a good work/life balance! They prefer men, and don’t appreciate young people or anyone with a new idea or creative viewpoint. They ask for people to not be contempt with the status quo and yet they penalize or ignore those who want change or express new ideas. They need serious reform if they wish to compete with any of the new Hotel builds

Making quality food for customers. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Making dishes fast and with accuracy. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Multi ethnic west coast culture and environment.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Prepping foods maintaining cleanliness.  Serving food to customers.

Coworkers were amazing but management was pathetic restaurant manager has no idea what hes doing, they expect you to be available 24/7 with zero guarantee of shifts, they expect you to make them a priority when your not remotely close to being theirs. Even great coworkers cant compensate for that.

This is not a good place to work. Management is not good and will not respect you. I experienced bullying working there. I would not recommend working here to anyone.   

The coworkers are friendly and every department supports and encourages each other. The management is very caring and supportive of school schedules! Would highly recommend this family like business

Managment at the coast Bastion and upper managment in the coast chain is horrible. No respect for long term employees and a toxic work culture. Respect yourself and find other employment!

Race to get a cart.
Yelled at by other staff.
Taking of tips by management and staff.
Too many rooms, no breaks or lunch to finish.  Major corners cut.
So much negativity.
