But this is what this job really is:

its a Door to Door Job. You walk door to door asking for a donation. you have a meeting from 12:00 - 1:00 and your out asking for donation from 2:30-8:00. You are working outdoors so dress WARM.  If you like the outdoors, like talking to people, love to sell, love to hard close everyone, and love working alone? then this job is for you. you travel to a different area every day and at least get someone to donate. You get a base pay of 60$ for going out and if you get a donor then you would get a commission, the more donors you have in the week the more commission you get. 

You have to always stay positive cause you get the door slammed in your face lots of times. 

This job is a lie stay away.

Coast to Coast has given me opportunities for growth that no other company has. They have unparalleled opportunities as long as you are willing to get out from behind the desk. Yes the role starts out in various face to face campaigns but as you grow into more senior roles the face to face aspect is A LOT less prevalent AND the company has given me an opportunity travel as well as work across Canada.
Every job has its negatives but i find the positives here much outweigh the "bad stuff".
If you are passionate about growth and helping charities this is the place to be.

i was quite surprised to come across the types of reviews I've seen for this company, it honestly made me skeptical to go in for my first day however i am SO GLAD i did. People seem to forget there is more than one type of customer service...talking to people at a more personal level IS STILL CUSTOMER SERVICE. 

i definitely want to mention the growth opportunities here, i'm one of the newbies on my team however its pretty clear to me that there is advancement here, more so than at your average customer service job

For me, working for Cost to Coast is a life-changing experience. The team is great - passionate people who know how to work hard and have fun.

Management is excellent - they have helped me to see the world in a different perspective. Pushed me to step out of my comfort zone and actually come closer to the future person that I want to be. They helped grow both in personal and career level.

The money are great, if you work hard. I have had slow days - it happens, but I've learned how to be better at what I do. This job has given me the opportunity to polish my interpersonal skills.

The most enjoyable part of the day for me are the boardroom meetings with the team. Especially when I feel satisfied with my work throughout the day.

work is full time 12noon-8pm

We are essentially fundraising for a bunch of non-profit organizations, and we do that through mostly canvassing/events/kiosk work, and everything we do is done as a team. Lots of face-to-face.

Most people here started with no prior experience with non-profits so they gave us a really comprehensive training, just gotta pay attention and you're good to go.

They do a base pay plus bonus... on average I make about $600 a week after training was done.. just gotta be motivated and positive and work hard.

People are super nice.. energetic and loud

Hours range from 12pm - 9pm at night and include a professional boardroom session, travel time and at least 4-5 hours of door to door canvasing work. 

There is an incredible amount of skills you obtain while working for this company. My sales skills improved drastically every week.

Management was very encouraging - All about personal development

Co-workers were never really an issue - we mostly worked well as a team! High turnover rate however - this job is not for everyone.

Most enjoyable part of the job - Having great conversations and constantly improving your communication and general relating skills. Met a lot of really incredible people along the way.

I started at coast to coast a month ago and I've never felt more welcome at a job. From day 1 the managers were both really cool, got the whole team lunch (not every day), and have this hilarious point system competition going every week. It's a sales job, that's for sure. But working with some pretty amazing people and charities. It's nice to go to bed at night knowing I helped people more than I did asking if my customers would like to add fries with that. 
Rad team culture. Not for people who are whiny, there is a high turnover for you guys.

Worked with Coast for 7 months. It was a good gig to learn how to communicate better with people and develop my skills on reading people. The fact is that people are everywhere, so you better get used to interacting with them! The vibe is chill but motivated, and the people definitely kept me around for longer than I would have thought. Plus working with NFPs looks exceptional on a resume for other employers. I'm heading back for my Masters, otherwise I think I would have stayed longer.

Its a good place to work if your a student or someone looking to build a career. You work with non-profit organizations such as red cross, unicef, plan canada, helping with their fundraising through events, business to business , canvassing .

I say the hardest thing about working here would being able to adapt to all the different customers you talk with which is a lot. Also lots of face to face so if you have anxiety or your shy can be difficult. 


Very flexible hours, and very understanding and reliable management.

Love this work environment, you get to meet new people every day and learn new skills as well. Great positive team! Coming from a background of absolutely no sales, I was quickly able to learn and use new techniques directed towards sales. 

Working with charity has also been a blast. 9/10 people I talk to are very friendly and are glad there's someone making an effort to make a difference. 

Also a great way for students to make money for the following year and even professional advancement.
