I had a profoundly disappointing experience with this company. It's abundantly clear that their management is severely lacking in competence. From day one, it was apparent that proper training was not even on their radar. The lack of guidance and support for new employees was astounding, and it felt like they were throwing us into the deep end without a life jacket.

To make matters worse, their policies seemed to change with the wind. It was impossible to keep up with the constant shifts and adjustments, which created a chaotic and uncertain work environment. It felt like they had no long-term vision or strategy and were just making things up as they went along.

My time at this company was marked by frustration, confusion, and a complete lack of confidence in the leadership. I would strongly caution anyone considering employment here to think twice and explore other options. This is not a company that values its employees or invests in their success.

This company is a complete letdown on multiple fronts. If you're hoping for a pay increase, a raise, or any form of advancement, you might as well abandon those aspirations right now. It's abundantly clear that they have no interest in rewarding or recognizing their hardworking employees.

As if that weren't enough, they have this weekly employee survey that feels like a cruel joke. The questions are so repetitive that it's mind-numbing. It's as if they're trying to give the illusion of caring about employee feedback without actually doing anything to address the issues at hand.

In addition to the lack of advancement opportunities and the redundant surveys, the constant changes in internal policies make this company feel like a complete Mickey Mouse operation. You never know what to expect from one day to the next, and it's impossible to establish any sort of stability or routine.

This company is a mess from top to bottom. If you value your career growth, sanity, and job satisfaction, I strongly advise you to steer clear. There are far better opportunities out there that respect and value their employees.

Coinamatic is a terrible company to work for. They insist on changing the way the company operates then blame employees for failure in understanding what is happening and the new procedures involved when there is no real guidance or training involved. their solution to fixing problems is fire the staff, hire people at a fraction of what the previous staff was making, expect the same level of service with very little or no training provided. 

Their procedures are flawed and they have no solutions to fix them. I worked for the Calgary branch for just over 2 years and in that time I have seen staff get let go, management at all levels rotating out or obtaining positions they can't handle or fully understand.

Service with this company has been suffering as a result of their lack of any functioning procedures. they are losing more and more clients every day due their inability to provide the most basic of service. 

Over all I would NEVER recommend this company as a competent and respectful place to work. they do not care about their employees, their clients or their level of service.The management only care about how much money they will make at the end of the year and what kind of bonuses they obtain.

I enjoyed my time at Coinamatic. The staff and management were decent enough to work with and the work itself was enjoyable. As a shop tech I mainly fixed up washers and dryers to go back out in the field. There were deadlines to reach that sometimes required a crunch time and overtime. But this was not every week. It was not particularly technically demanding work however, and their pay scale reflected that. The journeyman rate there was on the low end, even for the appliance service technician trade. As a result, I had to leave for greener pastures in that regard. On the flip side, they offered guaranteed hours, good benefits, and paid vacation, which can get to at least 5 weeks if you’re with them long enough. So even though I was paid hourly on paper, it felt more like a salary position. I do miss that aspect of working for them.

Management is so stuck in the past. Seniority is a big plus (a lot of people have 15+ years experience) but only when it comes to knowing what trends in the industry are important. However, they are so stuck in the way they accomplish things. 

Corporate culture is fine and most people are nice, but ever since the US took over, it's become unstable when it comes to job security depending on what department you are in because all they care about is saving costs at the expense of hard-working employees. I've seen many people go even in the previous year because of structural changes. 

Overall, it's an OK company to work for but there are way better companies out there (with better benefits also).

I was a in field repair technician there,

They train you fully(in-house) on the equipment before sending you out. The pay is stable and the hours are stable as well (you are not expected to work nights, and weekend overtime is optional)

There was very little requirement for customer service, in most cases, you just enter the building and repair on your own with minimal customer supervision, very peaceful job

Worst company I ever worked for poor training no very well organized was there for 2yrs best day of my life when they no longer had work for me they lost big contract lack of work

Everything very un organized dispatch not trained very well parts department don't know what parts are for machines

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
 Get my calls drive to customer attemt to fix appliances

Working at this company you get to see and meet a lot of people from Tradesmen to site supervisors to bldg apartment managers and tenants. Dealing with Tenants can be a challenge sometimes as it can be stressful trying to diagnose a washer/dryer and the customer is complaining that they lost their money in the machines. Other than that and the occasional trying to find parking downtown, it is a good company to work for.
Coworkers are very helpful and Management tried their best to accommodate you in whatever you need to get the job done. 

•	Reported to Vice President General Counsel.  
•	Prepared all correspondence including letters, memos, expense forms and presentation.  
•	Handled highly sensitive and confidential documents.
•	Transcribed agreements from dictation and provided high level administrative support.
•	Working on large corporate agreements and compared them by using the black lining system and updated each version as required.
•	Maintained the legal filing system and created new files for new customers as required.

Serviced coin/card operated washing machines and dryers (gas and electric) in residential homes, apartments, retirement homes, hospitals, hotels, community housing and recreational facilities.
Managed daily work orders from dispatch to complete various jobs at locations throughout Ontario.

Managers were very helpful and nice. The workplace culture was very inclusive, everyone helps each other out. The most enjoyable part of the job was meeting new people everyday and helping them fix issues with machines.
