Cole Engineering Group Ltd

I love Cole Engineering.  I met a few Cole Engineering employees at a conference.   I loved the energy and excitement,  I stayed in touch and I compared to the firm I worked at where it was command and control and old fashioned.   I applied for a job there and was interviewed.  I got a job offer within 2 days and started after I took a vacation,   I met the president on the first morning and he told me how important my job is a to the company and explained how important client service is.   It has been a wonderful experience and I am so please with my coworkers and with my leaders.

You choose your own hours in an 8 hour day, core hours are between 9am - 5pm. Gained insight, and experience in the professional engineering world, which was influential in the development of my current career. Management team is excellent. Co-workers are young professionals with similar goals, and are career driven individuals, who work well in a team. The most enjoyable part of the job is the family-like feeling of the office.

Although I enjoyed the work I did at COLE, current management are running the company into the ground.  It is in very serious financial trouble.  Invoices from suppliers and subcontractors are not being paid, company credit cards are maxed out, lots of layoffs.  The company is circling the drain and unless there is drastic change I would be surprised if it exists two years from now.  I am glad I got out when I did.

Do not under any circumstances work for this company! Horrible clueless management that never holds anyone accountable. Very unfriendly ill-mannered coworkers with no personality. Never any praise or even so much as a 'thank you' from management. Lots of  big talk from management and never any action to back it up. No protocols or control systems. Financial problems. Total dysfunction. Worst company ever.

A typical day at work is from 8:30am - 5:30pm. The work environment is good. Most colleagues are friendly. but only part of employees work hard, and some employees who are relatives of company lead or VP often play smart cell phone during working time or just chatting and totally don't work. The company almost has no new projects recent years and many people have nothing to do.

Cole engineering was a productive and fun workplace for young engineers. The young professionals group is something that sets it apart from other consulting firms. COLE makes an effort to grow their employees and management is good.

I enjoyed working for Cole.They were friendly and very welcoming. I learned about engineering and the different sectors. The position kept me busy through out the day, moving from one business sector to another. I liked how they had a gym and a massage room in the building for all employees.

It is a great place to work. I enjoyed working as it was an open and very friendly environment. Cole hires new grades and students and gives them the opportunity to grow and learn. I worked with some very talented and young people.

If you don't want to learn anything this is the best place to be

They taught me how to sharpen a pencil. I gave up on the first day. They did not know how to sharpen a pencil
