Start up the trim robots, mould and oven. Adjust working parameters according the carpet (Ford, GM, Chrysler, Toyota). Every mould and trim bucket repeats the size and the shape of real corresponding car (say Hummer, Mustang). Basically, adjustment was endless, during the shift, because every single blanket of carpet was different (thickness and density). Every day and every minute I learn something new about process, materials and teamwork. Our supervisors were working very hard, trying to avoid dawn time and satisfy the shipping needs, and they appreciated workers' cooperation. I was member of CAW, and among my co-workers I felt myself like I am among brothers and sisters. The hardest part of the job was when I could do nothing about the poor quality of final production (say pleats). No matter, how hard supervisor, maintenance, and myself were adjusting the process, it wouldn’t work (happened very few times in 4 years). On the other hand when everything runs smooth and easy (well, it seems easy), by the end of the shift you reach the production goal with excellent quality, your supervisor shaking your hand - it was amazing feeling!

It was so great to be at the beginning of a research part of manufacturing that you loved going into work each day. I was the Electronic Technician / Lead hand and was implementing the machines, the cycles, and the production of the work and the work flow. It was such a great opportunity to be at the beginning and woking on a idea that maybe did not fulfil the 100% expectation but required more fine tuning and investments.

Excellent bunch of people to work with, very sociable a true joy to see your co-workers everyday.  I will always miss working there, it was a definite great time in my life, truly enjoyable.  Unfortunately, company went into bankruptcy protection and closed doors.

This job requires patience and perseverance cause you will be  sitting down or standing for 8 hours depending on where you're assigned. It's a fast paced environment but you will get used to it
due to repetitive nature of the job.Plenty of overtime but lay-offs
after during slowdown.This plant closed or bankrupt.

I started working here cause it was across the street from where we lived at that time. This factory closed I'm my 3rd year. Management had a hard time keeping things running properly due to old machines and so on. The filed for bankruptcy.  So I changed jobs and started to work for Aisin.

Enjoyed this position for many years and found it rewarding. Appreciated the freedom to go into the plant to do cycle counts and interact with the employee who were on the various lines.

 This company however is no longer in business.

Overall a clean atmosphere coworkers were pleasant ,working conditions with the many ovens heating the carpet to be molded for various autos, I would rate this company a good memory until it closed in 2007.

It really felt like a team environment while I was there.  There focus on safety for all workers was refreshing and it felt like they really cared about all employees.  While I was there they had a canteen area to get food on breaks and the food was great.

Business closed moved to the untied states. Was a great job with set shifts and great pay. Management was constantly changing so that was probably a big downfall in it moving. I enjoyed my pay cheque and hardest part was losing my job

I work and rotation to any position in the line
I can do any jobs in the line and rotated to any position in there and also work overtime whenever company need and friendly with all people in the company
