They assign you to a random shift every week or two, which makes it impossible to have a stable personal life. 

Some of the production staff are highly offensive, making your life miserable.

The management is greedy. Some employees have worked here for over 20 years without receiving almost no pay raises. 

The turnover rate is alarmingly high, and I've lost count of the number of people who have quit since I started. 

I strongly suggest gaining experience here and then seeking a better job elsewhere. The owner's family shows no concern for their employees, and the washroom and lunchroom facilities are worse than those in state prison. 

During the plant manager's retirement party, they only ordered about 10 pizzas for 150+ people, and half of them did not even get a slice.

I like the organization that the company has. I like the teamwork.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Always working under pressure is bad for many people, but not for me.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is very satisfactory, people help each other. And regarding the cultures, there are more people from China than from other countries.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day for me I went in at 8 in the morning and left at 4.30 in the afternoon I worked all day without stopping. Of course I had my breaks….

start at 3pm- start cleaning machines either the line is finished or change overs- clean are like ingredient room , organize
I learned have patients, I learned more about cleaning and how to work machines, people are great we all get along
when we have to many hangovers changing one kinda cookies to another, needs wash die, need to clean belt, if alergine then must wash and sanitize the whole machine
most enjoyable is working together and having fun working

None very unprofessional place

Very toxic environment especially with the supervisor

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very poor environment I spent too many years there to realize that your health is more important than anything 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very stressful place to work especially for The newly hired

people will stab you in the back just to get ahead. HR will tell you lies to get you to come work there.they tell you that you have benefits when the truth is there is no benefits.they change your work time and you have to agree with it. if you are late then they will write you up.hr is always looking for ways to get you fired.union is also useless cause they take the companys side to everything.stay away and find something better than this place.

Productive but not good working place for sensitive people because production manager and supervisors are very strict and not freindly,no heart,very insulting supervisors and not accomodating.they treat people like animals and robots.no heart for workers thats why people/workers come and go in just a matter of 2 weeks are worst.

Diverse workforce...fast paced and very busy during production, especially during peak periods. I learned few things trainings as provided. Workplace culture is fine to work and Unionized. You have to work hard on the line and be punctual.  Year end gifts to employees and group benefits provided. Management expects an employee to work productively.

Quality Control technician check the quality of cookies. Test both raw and finished product. All critical control points were checked and maintained according to company's specifications. The machines were swabbed to avoid any allergen.

Gross.  Instead of stainless and ceramics they use plastics.  Yummy.  Thats so unhealthy.  But cheap.  That is this company in a nut shell.  Cheap and nasty.  I have seen better jails then this place.    Rather be there then in this dump.  People here are terrible.  You would have to be to work here.  

A good company starting out. Several things worth pointing out are within the overall atmosphere. Since CBC is a small business, it allows the management team to easily help everyone get acquainted with the overall job feel. lot of opportunities to learn and build your skills.
