•	Part time Support Staff 
•	Provide continuous care for clients who suffer from mental health disorders and who are developmentally delayed.
•	Provide personal care - Bathing, personal hygiene
•	Specified medical care. ex: Catheter care, exercises
•	Administration of medication
•	Prepare well balanced nutritious meals, that are in range with Canada's food guide. 
•	Advocate for clients who wish to take part in community events
•	Aid clients with their outcomes. Ex: Paper routes, township work
•	Attending medical appointments with clients as well as their families
•	Assisting clients with their financial budgeting. 
•	Aiding with daily exercises, speech therapy, and practicing sign language

I have worked within this Association for many years. This is the career that I had chosen for myself years ago. CLNG is Managed very well, professionalism, confidentiality and teamwork are key aspects of employment. I have gained a wealth of knowledge in many areas during the past years of my employment. One of the most enjoyable parts of my job is helping people with developmental disabilities become active independent members of their communities. It is difficult at times when people within communities are not educated or accepting of this. Maintaining professionalism is difficult at times.

I have been working at Community Living for well over 5 years. Never have I had any issues with the organization. I have always felt supported and in turn I feel like I help support my co-workers. As a father of 3 my current position provides me with a great deal of flexibility and Community Living North Grenville as a whole I feel is very accommodating. Which helps out with work life balance. I don't see myself leaving the organization and would highly recommended people to put their name forward for any opening positions.

I have worked with CLNG for 4 years. It is always a joy to come to work.  I have the freedom to allow the people I support to achieve their dreams. Great hours and a supportive management team makes it a great place to work.  I have never felt that this is my job but rather going to see friends every day.  I would HIGHLY recommend anyone seeing employment to apply there.  Great opportunity for advancement as well

Community living prioritizes the people supported. It follows a mission statement and believes that everybody is entitled to having a great and productive life both within their homes and the community. It values its employees. I have learned that in order to work in this field, one must be flexible, resilient, empathetic, and have a yearning to help others.

Lots of hours, working with lovely individuals, can be a lot of weekend, evening and holiday work, but that's par for the course in this field. Very enjoyable to support to people served by this agency.

This opportunity really gives you the chance to build relationships with the people we support.  It can be really rewarding.  I like that I am living and working in my community.
