When this agency hired me - I was fresh out of College. I really wasn't sure what direction i wanted to head in life. I did not have a liscence or an equivalent phamracology. However, they took me on in a part-time role anyways and gave me time to aquire these things. I then stepped up to full time and spent 8 and half years there. It really is a great agency.  Individuals are awesome, I always felt supported by my supervisors, had no issues dealing with any of the other management team-memebers, and, luckily for myself, some of the staff members have had the privilidge of working with have turned from colleagues into Friends I plan to keep for the rest of my days. Would reccomened. 

It was a great place to work. Co-workers were very nice and helpful when needed. The Clientelle varied for each group home. Some days it was rather intense, but more likely, the routine when followed made for a good work experience. I would work there again, It was a very positive experience.

It is a good place in which to work. One gets the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged people. There are personality differences and disagreements as there are anywhere, of course. But if you take care of all the items you are supposed to, and be easy to get along with, you can have a good career. But it is not 9 to 5; I worked at least every other weekend, and mostly evenings through the week, many nights, and usually holidays.  

Typical work environment is snotty ladies who team up and bully people working in the group homes. Management and supervisors do nothing to support your thoughts, or feelings. They say they care about workers mental health but they absolutely don’t. They cause stress and turmoil.

The individuals were the best.

No support from the supervisors.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
They play favorites and are very unprofessional. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Made sure the individuals were looked after.

Low pay-rate compared to other positions in the field, as well as unprofessionalism presented by the human resources department and supervisors, not enough positivity in the agency for what they are trying to accomplish. They need more employees who are positive, engaged and eggar to work.

The individuals CLSM serves make the long hours, unreliable staff, double shifts worth it. Turnover rates are fairly high with not having consistent hours to rely on, but there are always call-in hours available.

This is a really good place to work. Coworkers and management for the most part are great. if you do your job and treat people with respect you will have a lot of fun. 

A cliquish company, relies on part time staff instead of decently paying full time staff. Very self-indulgent supervisors. Not good with proper raises and no holiday time for part time.

Great stuff to work with and individuals are awesome.  Enjoy putting a smile on their face.  Management could use a lesson in communication.  Also perhaps they should practice what they preach.
