What is the best part of working at the company?
Great people, mutually respectful environment, good teamwork, learning new stuff.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Doing big networking project with a tight strict deadline takes sometimes whole weekends as well, everybody is stressed and tired with all the personal and family plans pretty much screwed, but never the less we try to keep environment fun with lots of jokes around, supporting each other to alleviate the pain of the stress

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Fun, easy going, friendly, but serious about work being done

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Cuppa coffee at Gecko next door...  Discussing with management the scope of work needed to be done for the day... Plan the work... Work the plan...

I was only an intern here, but I was treated so well by them. They help show you how computers and other electronics are made and properly disposed of if they are junk. I also learned proper organization skills that I needed. Each customer I helped, really made me feel valued. They never once got impatient with me and I even ran the store on occasion with support over the phone if I needed any, it was great.

Random Unstable Hours
Learned How To Putty In To Coorperate Firewalls, Switches And Routers. Learned How To Install Cisco Meraki Access Points. Learned How To Do A Wifi Survey. Learned How To Tidy Cables, Pull New Data Runs, And How UPS's Work

I really enjoy working here, we do a variety of different kinds of work and I learn something new every day. As my skills have expanded I’ve been given more complex and interesting tasks, so I’m never bored. The work environment is very casual, and I don’t have to deal with any of the bureaucratic nonsense that you see at bigger companies. Most importantly my coworkers are all great!

Job assessments, client communications,  knowledge your tech tools and  keeping team informed and reporting are all common for each job. I enjoy the variety of work that comes my way, it keeps it interesting. Management has got your back. 

It was for high school credit. I would come in go to my work station ask the boss what he wanted me to do and then I would do them. Like carrying 20 computers down to the basement to get a fix or helping a customer find the item they are looking for.

Micro managed. No ability to question authority. Everyone monitors you and you are connected to no one. Don't get sick or have an emergency because there will be no empathy or sympathy. Contract meant nothing. Changes were made

Great work experience, really learned a lot and got a great, practical  hands on IT experience. Very casual and relaxed work environment with fun and interesting co-workers.  

Learned a lot about teamwork and work culture though this job. Management of the business could have been a lot better. Organization also needed.

it was a very fun and memorable time there and i picked up lots of experience overall and amazing and very fun to work place to work at they do computer repairs and recycling
