What is the best part of working at the company?
As a general rule they are pretty decent to their employees, relevant to your job training is readily available. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
You never know when the axe may hit you during a downturn or change of management. The he said she said mentality always goes against the one the complaint is about, there is not really any investigation. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Culture is very work oriented, there is always a huge push for production, maintenance and shipping departments are/were expected to run 24/7 which exhausts employees. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It was pretty good, busy throughout the day, lots of paperwork, meetings and involvement with various other departments to ensure shipments were out on time and product was received with the appropriate paperwork completed.

With Comtech I learned how to get along with different kinds of people I met and talked with. 

My co-workers are cooperative. The hardest part of the job is when we need to meet the project deadline but we have less resources. The most enjoyable part of the job is when we got the project after the hardest time of preparing it.

Overall a good consulting firm to work for (no real issues). The only negative point I have is: Comtech does not followup with their employees to see how things are going.

Supporting a project team and management team with requirements for the project. Provide calendar management, meeting and presentation support.
Great project team to support, some need very little support, very self sufficient.

I enjoyed my time at Comtech. My director was amazing and I don't really have anything negative to say. Good working environment and friendly people all around. The staff kitchen is also very cozy and they have treats.

Early start, late finish union shop. Challenges to change were always an issue requiring the development of effective change management strategies for both shop and senior mangement.

This company supports anyone who wishes to further educate themselves. The owner is open to hiring individuals who are motivated and willing to learn rather than simply requiring years of college.

Great place overall especially as a student, my contract had ended and unfortunately they couldn’t extend it due to external reasons but management is very helpful and great. 

Much has changed since I worked at Comtech however at the time it was a fair and reasonable work atmosphere.  It was a time of flux however, not sure how things are working out there now.
