Worked for this company was a wonderful experience as I learned many concepts of what the quality means of precast products used in the manufacture of bridges, buildings, shops.

Working with experienced people in these areas was fantastic, getting the cooperation required sometimes in solving problems detected in the products.

The hardest part of working in this company: were the times of manufacture of the products, as well as the satisfaction of delivering on time.

The management at Con-Force is willing to get dirty and help where its needed! regular staff appreciation events, the work can be hard but it is recognized then the teams are well taken care of!  the work is unique and fun to be a part of, the owner like to think outside the box and are always trying to improve!

The job was reception and helping some of the sales people.  My manager worked in a different area than I did, was hard to communicate with her as she usually was not in her office.  The job provided a solid base of income for me as I was fresh out of school.  I learned a ton about the work force, time management.  I found the production of material interesting and learned a lot from the sales and plant representatives.

A a class 1 driver you will transporting concrete beams and bridge sections.
You are required to work days and nights in the same week.
Their equipment is really old and doesn't get fixed often.
You will be doing construction work, loading and unloading concrete sections, so you must have over size load experience.
They pay well but the work is hard and you will get pushed to do more everyday.

To many people related to one another all the way up to senior managers so the way that works is your typical favouritism for family members. Also it was always a revolving door for teams of whoever the union 1611 put in there at busy times and I was payed off around six times in four years so don’t expect to stay long you just won’t if the economy isn’t doing well and jobs ain’t going through they will go down to skeleton crews 

Overtime is supposed to be optional but you are told that you have to finish before you leave. Other employees would rather lie to management if there's a problem instead of dealing with it. They have no respect for the union they are part of. Owners are great but supervisor and plant manager seem to be clueless about what's going on

Con-Force has been revived by the new owners.  They are exceptional leaders and foster nothing less than an inclusive, collaborative and overall amazing work environment.

rewarding work, long hours , high turnover rate but co workers are what makes it fun. Hourly wage as a labourer is lacking compared to other construction companies. Lots of opportunities to get promoted if you're willing to put in hard work.

Love the team work of the company, they truly care about every person, cool projects and the team is not afraid to think outside the box to get the work.

I had great time working here its was really hard work But I loved it , this job showed me that I can push myself to the limits but I kept on going on
