Working with Conagra Company is great but the management like supervisors and Hiring management HRs has no sense of consideration and empathy to workers. They should served as our support system when one like me is not knowledgeable in certain tasking and assigned me for training. Even other new hires doesn’t get much of the knowledge they need to perform their duties as the supervisor doesn’t even know how to trouble shoot things that’s why there are so many injuries happening due to lack of experience and support.  The hiring management should look and see how they can take care and protect their worker, proper listening and to increase the moral in the company. It was not a good experience I had and I am hearing a lot of complaints from other workers about management in this company. No given fairness and equality.

Working at Conagra Company is good but the management like HR and Supervisors are missing the support system as being new hires I would expect them to be the one to show you what the expectations and limitations in the company. If a worker made a mistakes because of training and jot knowledgeable in doing other tasking.  No consideration.. called you out from your station and ask you to sign documents and didn’t realized it was already a written warning as in no consideration of wrong action and being new.  The Moral and support system in this company is very Poor specially with the hiring management as they should be the one to feed us more learning skills and ability to meet the expectations of the company. That is why.. they hired more and they fired more due to their luck of support. Too bad and so sad.

Conagra Brands is an amazing place to work and grow your career. The culture within the office is great and everyone is very friendly, approachable and welcoming. There are many opportunities to present your work/projects/results to leadership and get recognition or feedback from them. Management is invested in employee development and there are many programs in place to ensure employees are happy and engaged. Company is very inclusive and actively makes efforts to increase diversity, inclusion and equity efforts. The recruitment process was very straightforward and easy to navigate as well. They have many employee events and socials to help with team building cross-functionally. Highly recommend, Conagra is an amazing place and treats their staff very well. 

This was the worse work experience ever experience in my 12 year career as a finance professional. Management is not supportive and very demeaning. It felt like high school,if you choose not to be apart of a certain group of individuals any progression or support went out the door. It was also shocking to see finance professionals swearing openly in meetings and the general work environment. Lack of systems was extremely frustrating currently working off of a dos based system and 2 years out from Sap. I would highly recommend that people stay away from this very toxic and childish environment not worth the compensation . 

•Calculated and journalized Cost of Goods and monthly Stock Transfer.
•Calculated Inter-company Purchases.
•Reconciled transactions in and out of the warehouse for accuracy and posted daily Stock transfers.
•Monitored proper controls and systems to effectively manage inventory levels.
•Performed account reconciliations and general ledger entries.
•Calculated inventory reserve and journalized the monthly accrual.
•Completed warehouse and transportation performance report to the Director of Logistics, to determine proper KPI.
•Act as ConAgra representative, performing audits at outside warehouses during physical counts.

The company is not people oriented - HR policies are either do not existing or not enforced, there is a little possibility to move to different function internally, vacant positions are not announced internally giving more preference to external candidate vs internal promotion, managers performance is not measured... you would see HR only twice - when you sign your contract and when you leave the company.. 
this company is ok for young professionals to start building a resume, but I do not recommend it for mature professionals looking to build a career long term.

My time at Conagara was a great learning experience, I took every opportunity to learn new production aspects. My daily routine varied through out the years there, as new positions opened and my seniority grew, allowing me greater job options. The hardest part of a production job is the repetitiveness, and how to stay focused on the same task for hours on end, I found singing in my head to be effective. I formed many lasting friendships with my co-workers that I maintain to this day. I was greatly saddened with the news of Conagara closure.

ConAgra Foods is a friendly working environment. Working there, I have learned to further develop my organizational skills. Being a, mostly, independent environment, I learned to organize my time well to ensure the continuation of production. the management are insistent on rules and expect us to follow those rules, regardless they are more of a laissez faire type of leaders. Co workers are always there willing to help whenever help is needed. the hardest part of the job would be lifting over 20 kilograms of flour bags when mixing a batch.

my job allows me to work at my own pace and do the job how I see fit and decide the best way to get my job done in a productive way. management works good with workers getting things fixed to so I can do my job in a reasonable manner . 
the hardest part of my job is dealing with the cold in the freezer and all the oldest product to ship on a daily biases.
I have learned hos to use a lot of different tools and machinery on my job along with time management skills

Each of us plays a part in the success of the season; thus paving the way for a productive and successful off season.  ConAgra, in Dresden, ON, is a place I am proud to call my "happy workplace".
