I was the Team Lead for International payroll at conduent Ltd where the manager delegate a number of responsibilities for me to oversee the other staff members. Payroll was processed twice monthly as the deadlines were very important. I had to be very keen on detail in order to make sure that the employees where paid accurately by doing peer review and ensuring all payroll transactions were entered in a timely and accurate manner. Additionally, all service request must be addressed and completed within three days.
Conduent ltd was a very friendly, team oriented and warm environment where each employee played an important role in the continued success of the company. 
The hardest part of the job was payroll day where the workload was at its peak and the deadline for the processes were crucial and cannot be missed.
I ready enjoyed this job because as the team lead of  all the members of my team were very supportive and efficient in carrying out the various functions on time.

Nothing. Management is a joke. No raises in over 8 years.

They don't treat you well at all

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Stressful and not a happy environment at all

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Just an average day of open and sorting g mail

It was my first time to heard this Manager swearing, no professionalism while she speaks. I observed lots not nice with this manager.
When it comes to Supervisor, she is not confident with her job, old-fashioned process.
I believe they have lack of managerial and leadership training.

Good for someone looking for a Canadian work experience. Long term goal is not good as the company does not have career growth for immigrants and no salary increase.

Our immediate group (learning services area) was very well managed; however, when Conduent split away from Xerox, there were a lot of restructuring decisions that were not easily understood by the rank and file.

A typical day would be managing multiple clients and meeting client deliverables.  Review and respond to member inquiries.  Perform calculations.  I have learned and understand pension basics and legislation.

Now I know why the turnover rate is so high. Want you to do a lot for a little. Training was in south Jersey and wasn't paid to commute even though hired in Newark. Call center is very unprofessional.

I worked for Sprint so I can't speak about any other companies. If you are on the phones, life is horrible. If you work for the domestic unlock project, it is beyond easy.

There are a few issues with the company, a bit rigid with rules and so on but excellent teammates and co workers, good environment, great support staff

benefits are good
people are nice and helpful
the workload can be enormous most of the time
overtime pay 
sometimes there are interesting events going on
