They micromanage on-site sales event reps, and your assigned location can change often—sometimes you only find out the night before your shift. This makes it hard to plan ahead and adds unnecessary stress. They do provide some training, but the telecom product they sell doesn’t feel competitive compared to other options in the market, which makes it challenging to pitch confidently and convince people to switch.
Another major issue is the physical setup: you’re expected to transport and set up a large table and materials at each location completely on your own, with no help from the team. It’s treated as “part of the job,” but it can be physically demanding and exhausting, especially when locations change frequently. Overall, the role requires a lot of flexibility and stamina, but the lack of support and last-minute changes make it a frustrating experience..


I worked here as an event supervisor for almost a year. It was great starting out however things quickly changed. This company has no consideration for their employees nor are they upfront and honest about things. I stopped getting scheduled to run events based off of a fabricated story the manager was told about me. The project manager did not sit down to speak to me about this story or hear what I had to say. I then later had to find out from another employee that the project manager was telling other people that I was “fired”. I had no recollection of being fired as I was not informed about this. When I confronted the manager, she gave me the run around and said I was not fired and that she would contact me when another event came up. I still haven’t heard from her to this day lol.

My team and I worked for the Atlantic Provinces program dealing with the Canadian Tire Options Mastercard, and Gas Advantage Mastercard. At first, the job seems fantastic, with the promise of benefits, and great pay. The pay was above average for around this area. Yet it was not as substantial as they made it out to be. Also, the managerial staff has no concern for their employees. There were countless times where we would be up until 1AM, then have to wake up again at 6 AM. They've also left us without places to stay for the night. If you're going to work for Connect6, I would recommend some thick skin and the knowledge that you are simply disposable.

As the title says, was a great summer job and not much else. Learned a lot due to the CEO flying down to teach us the ins and outs of selling while getting a lay of the land down here. He was very smart and knowledgeable but did not exhibit great leadership qualities. Consistently dwelled on things that were done wrong and provided very little support when things got tough. The base salary wasn't very competitive but due to my sales record I was always getting a lot of commission. The worst thing about it is even if you sell a bunch, you have to live with the fact that you only get about $20 per signup which is a very small proportion of the total commission from vendors.

I worked for Connect 6 Group a few years back and I gotta say the company sucks ! They really don't care about you or your problems, the job can be very competitive when your trying to make sales on Credit cards and when you don't sell any or not alot  they blame you for not trying hard enough! They tell you you have to stand and try and sell a certain amount even when it was your time to go home when its not your fault that no one wants to get a credit card in the first place! The manager was a total jerk as well definitely doesn't treat employees good. I honestly do not recommend working for this company they are honestly horrible! 

What is the best part of working at the company?
The work culture here is amazing. Additionally, the mangers always give best coaching to the sales reps.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
If you are ready to learn then this place is for you.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Work environment is amazing . you will learn plenty of things about how to deal with various people . simultaneously, The CEO and management here is amazing they will alaways invest in the team to achieve your full potential.

Each day is a new learning curve. Brainstorming sessions with the team to hire the best people keeps us active and help us to come up with innovative solutions. 
This workplace is collaborative unit where managers support the team and help them at their best to achieve the targets or desired results.
My work also involves payroll and coordination which provides me with an opportunity to implement my learning and skills into practice.
I am thankful to Connect6 and team to provide me with the support, knowledge and an opportunity to advance my skills.  


Poor Work-Life Balance 

Working at Connect6 Group Inc was a nightmare for work-life balance. Long hours, unrealistic targets, and constant pressure by upper management made impossible to have a personal life. Burnout was common among sales reps. They say you get commissions for each sale but reality is you only get paid the hourly wage and they keep the commissions. Most of the people that work there are immigrants who are desperate for a NOC B job to apply for permanent residency.  Personal advice would be to skip this company. 


Since starting at Connect6, the team culture has really stood out. Management and co-workers are constantly helping each other and supporting each other to succeed as a team. Hard work and success is recognized at all levels which drives the motivation. Given the current situation with COVID19, management has gone the extra mile to focus on how to create jobs and grow the business into different avenues which provides opportunities for new people and mobility for current staff. 

Not the best company or management team however if you are a newbee who is willing to start at low wage but get some sales experience it's fine. there is a pressure of making sales, and they might threaten u if u dont make enough sale..u also need to obey there rules like schedule timings etc otherwise they will make some fake reason to get rid of you
