What is the best part of working at the company?
I appreciate the warm and welcoming environment at our workplace. There is a strong sense of teamwork, and many of the employee care partners are open, supportive, and willing to help one another. I have also had the opportunity to work alongside some truly amazing staff who genuinely care about the residents and consistently strive to provide the best care possible. For example, the recreation team does an outstanding job creating meaningful activities and engagement for residents, which greatly contributes to their quality of life.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Finding a balance in caring for the residents and supporting fellow workers. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work culture is supportive, diverse, and welcoming. Team members come from a variety of backgrounds and bring different experiences and perspectives, which helps create an inclusive environment where people feel respected and valued. Staff are generally approachable and willing to support one another, contributing to a sense of teamwork and collaboration.

There is a positive atmosphere where employees are encouraged to communicate openly and help each other when needed. This supportive culture not only benefits staff but also helps create a caring and respectful environment for the residents. The diversity and willingness of team members to work together foster a workplace where people feel comfortable, included, and motivated to provide quality care.

The first few months were great - things slowly started to decline after that. Certain managers tried very hard to keep a positive culture. Others did not. When I approached my manager with concerns/problems, I was ignored. There was very little respect for my personal time. I got called in/messaged on my days off numerous times.

Nepotism is a very big issue here which means many people (myself included) did not earn the jobs they had and were not the best people for the role. Rules also usually do not fully apply to these people.

They refused to give me benefits, even though I worked there well past the probationary period.

Connecting Care reputation for employees is so bad, they run multiple profiles on job sites like Indeed, and deliberately post false reviews to elevate their employment review ratings that have been declining year after year. 

Upper management denies responsibility for ongoing problems their rudeness and unprofessionalism create with facility workers which has resulted in very low employee morale, high employee turnover, constant complaining about job dissatisfaction, and a tense work environment with conflicts and favoritism.  

As a young professional, Connecting Care has provided me the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute. 
Typical Day: manage the HR data base, including the new hires, personnel action forms, and terminations. I am responsible for benefits, including enrollment and termination, and am part of the renewal process with a great team. I have also started the culture and diversity committee to discuss how connecting care can improve and support the communities we operate in.

They preach a lot about Eden Philosopy but not practiced. Companies management is not at all organized and very poor communication and support from the head office.
Working here feels like walking on egg shells daily and thats the feeling you never want when working for a company.

Hardwork is never recognized in this company. The residents i worked with were lovely and thats part of the reason i worked there.

Working during probation period is very tricky here as i had seen many people fired during probation for no reason. 

I started at a Connecting Care facility with high hopes and aspirations for my career with them, but soon was overwhelmed by the toxic work environment, the bullying by management, by the unsafe care environment, understaffing, lack of policy and procedures, and constant discrepancies in pay, with no results in bringing pay issues to management.

Team members and whole administration are very friendly and nice

nothing so far well organized and pro active

United as a Team, very respectful and professional environment

Busy doing my work, focused and stress free, we have supportive supervisors and subordinate team

Working with and advocating for the Residents.

Lack of support and how money orientated they were.

Terrible culture due to lack of support and their  focus on making money rather than being truly resident focused.

Very busy, short staffed and stressful.

used to be the residents, and the job in general, now the company doesn't care about anyone

I was fired for no reason, so the stress now is paying my mortgage

terrible, treated like your  stupid and your opinion doesn't matter

long ,stressful, no support from management

My review is to work successfully you must be a person with good abilities, good behavior, good conduct be careful,be faithful, friendly, comfortable with your co-workers, love your clients, be faithful to your clients ,be humble with any one around you ,be proud of your job, satisfied your clients, respect your manager
