Really odd and kind of pathetic place. Most people sit and do data entry all day, and the company makes a poor effort to make such a job interesting. Another review is accurate in saying if the team lead doesn't like you, it shows. You ask one too many queries and you hear a little "Of course" under the breath in that derogatory tone. Despite the fact that a bunch of us were employed as "casual full-time" employees, they go through all the (pointless) paperwork and procedures only to tell us two weeks later that there's no more work for you, so don't come in tomorrow. And the next day, you're told, on the phone, that we encourage you to look for work elsewhere. This either shows horribly poor project planning or weak employee management because there's just no communication and no feedback and no discussion and suddenly you're told goodbye. Imagine taking up a new job, spending a couple of weeks to settle in (and in just a couple of weeks, one observes so much of the ground reality), and then just told to not come in anymore.
Although the pay is reasonable (minimum wage) for the work, one would expect a more stable job. Working as a driver for a transport company is much better compared to this, in terms of stability and communication.

I didn't feel stressed at this job.

friendly, work environment and multicultural company.  They treat all their employees with respect.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
You come to your comfortable workplace and begin to fulfill your duties. According to your work schedule, everything is clear and understandable.

The experience and training I received during my time at Consentia positioned me to take the next step in my career. Many of the staff (both permanent and casual) have worked there for years because of the fun, flexible and healthy environment. The expectations placed on staff are fair and targets are attainable. If you are motivated, detail-oriented, have a good attitude, and want to gain experience in document conversion and records management, Consentia is a great place to work. The organization is pivoting as the industry changes, and there are exciting opportunities on the horizon.

Everyone at Consentia is always willing to go above and beyond to help you with any questions you have. Not only are they willing to help you with any question you might have for them, they are also willing to be flexible with the hours that you work and understand that challenges can arise in your personal life. Everyone is extremely supportive of each and you really do work as a team with everyone in the office. Since I started I have learned so much, and I'm learning more everyday. It is really nice to work somewhere that makes you feel included and not like your just another number. 

Worst place to work for!  Working in the a Sanitation company  would be better than working for Consentia!  Don’t waste your time there!

Culture is backstabbing.  Management doesn’t check their  different workplace working environments.  Takes Team Leads word over other employees words. Favouritism among employees with higher titles is rampant.  Just regular employees gets stomped on if you don’t kiss their butt.  They say that there will be reviews but lie and don’t and no raises.  

This form of business in itself is temporary. It’s a dying business model that doesn’t create opportunity for sustainable growth. That mindset is deeply woven into the management structure - short-term contracts and deliverables mean short-term underpaid contractors to get it done as quickly as possible. 

Consentia is in a state of growth and evolution, opportunities for staff are endless with the vast breadth of projects and introduction of new technologies. The ability to cross-train, learn new skills and move in between projects is highly encouraged, supported and offered to all staff. Awards are given for ingenuity and collaboration. Management genuinely cares about the well-being of staff, and high-quality results for their clients.  Moving forward into a new contract I will miss my Consentians!

There is little proper communication between management and employees.  They underpay people to do way more work than they should be doing, thus the ethnic minorities tend to be exploited by this. The volume of work versus the compensation for said work is very imbalanced.  Do not disagree with the management for half a second and do not be honest with them as they will cut you loose without a moment's notice.  No warning, one "Procedural" meeting, and I was out.

This job is the saddest thing I've ever done. Be prepared to do the same mind numbing task endlessly. You will receive pitiful training and then be shamed for doing something wrong. Management has poor communication and favouritism. They pay minimum wage no matter how long you've worked there.

The only good things are that you get to choose your own working hours, and the job is relatively stress free.
