People working there, hate working with others, they pride themselves abput being a great workplace, but it's nothing like that. There is always tension between employees and also management. Employees are always havimg disagreements with each other and management calls their subordinates "the yahoos".
Trucks and moffets are poorly maintained, most of them have leaks and other safety problems. Ladders and other equipment are in poor conditions(ladders broken). No safety training is provided, if you are lucky they will provide some ppe, but no training included.
Hours are just unpredictable, you could ask to work 8-9 hours so you can leave "early" for an appointment and they are not able to accomodate. Pretty much you have to be available to work 10 - 14 hour days.
Overall, is nothing but a great workplace and the only safety they care about is for the materials, not their employees.


In the several Years I worked here it felt meaningless, and frustrating.

The Benefits are lacking immensely to say the least. You will work incredibly hard for low pay, every branch appears to severely under staffed, and management will try to find a way to cut you the low end of every deal on the wages end - even if the location is profitable. Sales does not work well the operations side, Management will find ways to throw staff under the bus, and that includes new hires who are under trained. No second chances here.

The best thing I got out of this company was free training. But beware management will try to hold that over your head.

I wasn't mistreated here, but I wasn't treated well. It's just a job, going in looking for friends or dreams of scoring big will lead to disappointment.

A typical day involves the delivery and placement of building materials using picker cranes and moffett forklifts, but also move all materials by hand. You spend a lot of time working with the same person, so you have to get along and always work as a team. The business is very poorly managed and not very personable with its emploees. My co-workers are all good, hard working people who are always willing to help you out when you need it. The hardest part of the job is doing the job. It is very physical and you work outside 12 months a year, so you are exposed to the elements. The most enjoyable part of the job is working with my delivery team.

Thought I was starting a job where I would be treated fairly and equally. This is not the case, I was made to work outside in -28 for more than 3hrs straight. when I stopped to warm my hands up, I was told "I'm not paying you to stand around!) when I explained that I'm so cold I can barely move I was told "your clearly not ready for this job this is an INSIDE, outside job") and was let go. I was told I wasn't prepared. I had work boots, socks, pants, gloves, hat, jacket, short, sweater on. I was fully ready and capable of doing the job, but trying to warm up was not acceptable!  Terrible place.

Company culture is toxic . No direction. Super inefficient and disorganized. Impossible not to work overtime because of disorganization. Threats are also a major part of the motivational system. Majority of people working there have gone through multiple wage roll-backs and have lost all motivation to perform even basic duties .

Company direction is done by one person and all business functions were put through the same person.

Overall, good company concept but it was mico-managed.

Very difficult to foster relationships.

Management was verbally abusive. I was yelled at for trying to keep the place clean when I was finished my other duties. Customers were often rude. You'll be asked to work overtime routinely, especially if you're new.

Poor management, the owner is a tough individual, long hours, no overtime for salary paid employees, management is always changing your daily duties. 

Decent money to start. Often difficult to advance in position and pay. Hectic work environment due to low staffing levels and heavy workload. A decent place to cut your teeth then move on.

The work is tough, moving thousands of pounds a day. You'll learn new skills, like how to operate a truck mounted crane. The faster you work the more money you make, but it is easy to push yourself and get hurt.
