A very frustrating company to work for. Absolutely no regard for common safe work practices, and extremely lacking training program. Almost every meeting (including my interview and start date) were not properly scheduled. No one I met was able to produce any SOP's or any FLHA documentation to get a scope of the job or its risks, and nobody in the Kitimat office could help direct you to someone who could. I would not recommend this job to my worst enemy.

Good company but it was a camp job ( two months in, ten days out). This type of schedule will negatively effect your personal life. The work schedule is also weird. Three days on, two days off, two days on, three days off, two days on two days off. This schedule then repeats but on night shift. This schedule gives you a lot of downtime in camp which leads to a lot of boredom.

Hostile and very cold like they don't care

Total bullsh*t really everyday

I have never in my life worked in such a toxic and hostile environment!  The management quite literally do not care about the well being of the workers.  everyone here tears others down to make themselves look good.  You can make a lot more money on the Rio Tinto site with another contractor and deal with A LOT less stress!

Sl&B is a toxic and over demanding work environment with administrators who are always whipping your back to ensure you reach quotas that ensure they can pay you less in the future, you don’t even require a diploma to apply, and many staff, supervisors included, are high on narcotics most of the time to keep up with demands 

One of the most racist places I’ve ever worked in my entire life. This company fails extremely hard when it comes to employee safety. They allow drunk people to work onsite with little to no regards for other workers safety. The management is just plain horrible and almost unpleasant to deal with if you have an issue..

If you don’t speak French you don’t fit in, no real respect for workers. Management only cares about the bottom line and it isn’t the workers. Workers take no pride in work and only want to get free money and when asked to complete task it’s a problem.   The har workers get taken advantage of until they have had enough… Toxic…

Had a good time to work with SL&B. Good work life balance. Nice schedule. We can plan our things accordingly just because of the schedule is for whole year. 

This company will mess you around and mess you around through the union any way they can. They will do anything to save a dollar. Money is more important to them than your safety and well being. There is a reason their turnover rate is so high.

Bad company to work for low ball the workers have to put up with dumb frenchies that dont know anything it's a joke how they can get away with paying 23.50 hour working inside rta plant
