Worked as a staff nurse on a floor with 28 residents. Helped other staff with tasks.
To not judge people before you get to know them and get along with staff and residents. We all have our own views and how to get things done.
Fellow staff member great to work with, upbeat and wonderful with the clients. 
Management helped with problems.
Hardest part was seeing someone deteriorate and losing a resident. 
The most enjoyable was visiting with the residents and their families and learning about their life experiences.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing  place is a hole would not put my dog in there let alone my family member

The staff n management there a bunch of bullies and disrespectful co workers that are abusive to the residents and management does nothing

It is a very toxic environment 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful and exhausting hated even walking I. That building

Demanding, busy work day.
I learned accounts receivable, payable, payroll, billing, how to build a schedule for all departments in the facility.
Management was highly stressed and made for a highly stressful environment.
Co workers were easy to get along with and i had many laughs with them.
Hardest part of the job was being in between upper management and the employees as it was a unionized atmosphere
The most enjoyable was learning all aspects of the job working under a great person.

The staff are great, the residents are even better.  Managements expectations of frontline staff is unattenable and unrealistic but the psw and nurses do the best they can with what they got.  The place could use a facelift and air circulation/ ventalation system installed is needed.

Very busy with customer service, I learned the in and outs of surplus supplies.  Management was easy to get along with and always willing to show you new things. The hardest part of the job was not knowing how long the store would be open.  The most enjoyable part of the job was easy communication with the management.

My employment at the facility was short, only four months. I enjoyed my experience at Copper Terrace. The interaction with such a diverse cliental is always a treat and the staff and management very pleasant and approachable.

I furthered my knowledge in the field of physiotherapy along with increased independence through day to day tasks. The residents are treated with the utmost respect as well as their families.

Has the same problems as every other nursing home, was almost always short-staffed, can’t imagine what it’s like now after the pandemic. The staff is awesome, management is not helpful.

The residents are great. The Management is terrible. Can’t keep nurses for a reason. There’s a reason the nurses don’t stay, so don’t waste your time. 

staff are friendly and creative. They work extremely hard to provide an enjoyable experience to residents at copper terrace. I enjoyed my time working here
